I woke up and saw the sunshine and my first thought was 'Ooh, I can hang some washing outside!'.

I am not better but DS needs clothes so I have to go somewhere and now I have seen what wants doing, I can't face leaving the house in a mess to go back to bed to have to get up again and sort it out.

Ah, what a night. Guess what?

I got some sleep!! Real sleep!! Like what normal people get every night!! It was amazing.

I may do it again tonight!

Although Nemo was sick so I had to get up and help. And it took 4 sleeping pills and painkillers to knock me out.

life takes on a different tempo with kids in tow. without kids we would probably feel a different emptiness. is there such a thing as the perfect balance between adventure and domesticity. having DS may have literally saved my life - I was clinging on to a high status job I hated and was making me ill, and having a baby gave me an easy face saving out to it all....
