I'll go first

Breakfast was a slice of sourdough avocado and lemon.
Lunch was Greek salad, half a flatbread and halloumi.
Dinner is honey mustard chicken thighs, roast potato's, carrots and green beans.

I have some dark chocolate covered peanut butter stuffed dates for dessert.

2 latte and a peppermint tea! A Good day of food today.

Mug of tea with semi skimmed.

Mug of instant coffee with semi skimmed and 1 tsp sugar.

Roast beef and horseradish sandwich, can of coke, bag of paprika crisps (Sainsburys meal deal).

Home made minestrone soup (bacon, onion, garlic, celery, carrots, potatoes, tinned tomatoes, stock, dried oregano and basil, green beans, sugar snap peas, macaroni) loads of parmesan and two small pieces of garlic flat bread.

Breakfast - weetabix with fruit n fibre and granola sprinkled on top and also strawberry yogurt

Lunch - Leftover Swedish meatballs in onion and tomato sauce on a jacket potato

Banana, ice pole

Dinner - salmon with watercress sauce with greens and pasta

Sugar free jelly, grapes

Teas and coffees throughout the day

  • lunch - scrambled eggs with spinach
  • snack - handful raw cashews / almonds
  • dinner - lentils quinoa & brocoli in olive oil dressing
  • snack - natural yoghurt & blueberries

Porridge with chia, blueberries, almond butter and oat milk.
Kefir, coffee, tea, orange juice.
2 apples, 2 clementines.
Salad with smoked mackerel, lentils, quinoa, lemon and yogurt dressing, slice of sourdough.
Maybe some greek yogurt with honey later!

L: Big salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, 1/2 pear, soft goats cheese, sunflower seeds, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, turmeric sauerkraut. Dessert: 1/2 chopped nectarine with kefir.
S: 1 square 90% chocolate, 1 medjool date, a few Brazil nuts and dark chocolate almonds.
D: fish curry made with haddock, onion, garlic, fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, cumin seeds, ground cumin, ground coriander, coconut milk, brocolli, tomato and flat beans. A little brown basmati rice.

It was delicious!! Soo yummy. For veggies, I used onion, chopped courgette, yellow & red peppers, grated carrot and brocoli and the sauce was blended tomato's with herbs.

Sooooo yummy. Thankyou for the inspiration.

@lipglossandmascara, glad you liked it. Sounds just like something I've been making my entire life, with some variation to the veg, depending on what we have. DH and DS have it with wholewheat pasta and grated cheese. These days, post menopause I tend to avoid the pasta and pour it over veg, or only have a tiny bit of pasta.

This sounds like An amazing food day with garden berries and that curry!

Do you have non pasteurised sauerkraut? I'm trying to find some fresh that I don't have to order online do you have any recommendations please? All I can find in local supermarket is the jarred stuff which I don't think has the goodness in?

@tahinitoast, my big luxury in life is a weekly delivery from Abel and Cole. Among other things, including a fruit and veg box, some nuts/seeds and fresh fish, I always get a jar of their unpasteurised Suur turmeric and curry sauerkraut. It is amazing!
