No better, I was in the bathroom from 1 until 5.30 last night :(
Got a few hours then woke up and had to.leg it back in there.

Worse thing is dh is working....i thought he had the day off.

Tee Docs!

Tee2072 · 01/11/2012 10:02

Well, docs decision out of my hands as they don't have a single appointment today by the time I got through. They said I could try again tomorrow.

They are usually quite accommodating so they must be really really booked. Guess I'll try tomorrow!

Oh no, Bonkey. Good luck today.

StateofConfusion · 01/11/2012 11:45

2 hours of waiting room hell, baby measuring fine though, consultant was 'busy' so I got someone else who despite reading my notes for aaages, managed to miss the fact that I have two dcs.

Waiting room full of fed up children off school and the biggest idiot with the loudest voice, "well what's a kiwi then"

Hope you feel better soon bonkey and littletee

I've got a horrible headache after being hung upside down almost for my scan.

EmpressOfTheSevenRomanCandles · 01/11/2012 11:56

Great that the baby's ok but poor you.

Tee2072 · 01/11/2012 12:18

Off and on. It's very strange, actually, usually when he has a chest infection he's lethargic and tired and complaining of ear and throat pain.

Today he's just giving the occasional cough and acting as normal.

We'll see how he is tomorrow.

I have banana muffins...

StateofConfusion · 01/11/2012 12:23

tee that's how my two are, sound awful when they cough but are fine and they'd sure let me know if they weren't. Going to pick up some cough syrup see if that soothes it a bit.

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 01/11/2012 13:43

Same as my Ds too, State and Tee. Although he seems worse today and is actually moping around looking ill. He has been vomiting again too. [hsad] Dh seems a bit better today though. Hope everyone's Dc's feel better soon, and Bonkey too.

Glad your scan went well State. Did you find out the gender? Hope your headache has passed now. I'm really sorry about your Dp's Grandad. [hsad] It's so scary how fast it develops once it's discovered.

I wonder how Show is getting on at work? [hsmile]

StateofConfusion · 01/11/2012 17:02

Nope, it would seem babystate is intent on being a suprise, legs crossed still! The sonographer found it rather amusing!

My dd has whinged and cried all day, she has a tendancy to whinge a bit anyway so I'm not too concerned but I'm grabbing some cough medicine calpol etc on the way home from my Mums. Hope all the puddlekids are on the mend soon, and bonkey.

Its too fast isn't it screamy my Grandma died from brain and lung cancer in 2010, but she had a good 7mnths from diagnosis before it seemed to totally knock her, the decline so to speak is dramatic and fast but having experienced it with her I'm glad it didn't drag on, she lived her life to the full so once she stopped and it beat her it was horrendous to watch, literally shopping on the saturday, hospital sunday and she passed away late on then wednesday. Evil disease.

Dp desperatly wants his Grandad to meet this baby, but is scared he won't live that long, selfishly I'm anxious because dc3 is planned csection, and its a 2hr drive away and time isn't something we'll have. Sometimes I sodding well hate being a grown up.

BrianCoxIsEatingBrains · 01/11/2012 18:03

Hello,

big hugs to all who need them - cancer is a fucker Sad My cousin's boyfriend lost his aunt to the disease just yesterday, she was early 50's (I don't know her but obviously feel for cousin's boyfriend as he is a lovely bloke)

Thanks Thanks Thanks

a lot of vomitting in here today! We had ours earlier this week (well, DD is....I seem to have escaped so far)

bonkey sounds like food poisoning rather than a tummy bug - with it going on for so long. I had it once, it was awful and it lasted a week - was not fun, try not to eat anything other than plain/light food (slice of toast, a weetabix...rice?) Your gut needs to heal ( that is if you can face anything of course!)

I'll sit in a corner with LittleTee and cough , mine is asthma though - so at least i can get relief from my inhaler. Hope he is on the mend soon!

state can't believe baby crossed their legs again! I have my 20 week scan in 15 days....I am excited about finding out but am now a bit worried the baby may have other ideas!!

I have a tantrum-throwing 8 year old to attend to Hmm oh the joy!

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 01/11/2012 18:21

My Mum just rang, my auntie died this afternoon. [hsad]

I hope your Dp's Grandad gets to meet your baby State.

BrianCoxIsEatingBrains · 01/11/2012 18:24

Screamy massive hugs to you and thinking of your family xxx Sad

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 01/11/2012 18:25

Thanks Brian.

StateofConfusion · 01/11/2012 19:59

Huge hugs to the screamy family I am so sorry xxx

StateofConfusion · 01/11/2012 20:02

brian my dd was the same, I even paid for a private 4d scan and we were left with a 'maybe' girl. This one seems super stubborn though. Makes it quite exciting though, hopefully that will get me through the csec prep which usually makes me cry like a baby! My big two aren't impressed, "what do you mean you still can't see".

Dp was in awe at the 31cms head circumference measurement taken today, "no wonder you get uncomfortable!

Tee2072 · 01/11/2012 20:04

Huge hugs Screamy. I'm so sorry.

Shaky · 01/11/2012 20:48

Oh Screamy I'm so sorry about your aunty, that's really sad news.

I'm thinking of you and your family Thanks

I'm glad your scan went well State

My ds is still snotty and coughing but is fine in himself. Sounds like all the puddle children have got the same thing.

Bonkey I hope you feel better soon, maybe it was the punch from last night Grin

EmpressOfTheSevenRomanCandles · 01/11/2012 23:17

More huge hugs Screamy, thinking of all of you.

Hope all the puddle kids and Bonkey feel better soon.

Shaky · 01/11/2012 23:36

Dp has got the snotty bug and is very sorry for himself. Honest to Christ you'd think he was the only person in the universe to have a cold EVER! He is such a drama queen, every other phrase is "god I feel ill" or "I'm POOOORLY", interspersed with much snotting and huffing and puffing. Tis not attractive.

Although I do love him dearly and hope he gets better soon stop whinging you miserable twat

Shaky · 01/11/2012 23:37

I was slightly fragile this morning -after drinking the whole bowl of punch-- Grin

Shaky · 01/11/2012 23:38

Ah strike through fail again. I give up!

EmpressOfTheSevenRomanCandles · 02/11/2012 12:11

You were close Shaky - just needed an extra - at the front!

Hope everybody's feeling better.

DreamySleepyNightySnoozySnooze · 02/11/2012 14:19

Thanks everyone. We're just waiting to hear when the funeral will be, then we can decide what's best to do with the Dcs. Ds1 can't sit still to have a wee, so probably best he does't go to the funeral.

Shaky, you punch hogger! You deserve that hangover! Wink Hope your Dp feels better soon.

Did you get in at the doctors, Tee?

How are you feeling, Bonkey?

Ds1 is a lot better today, so we've taken him to his art group this morning, and out for lunch at a farm shop. Baby Dreamy has a very gunky eye though, we have to keep bathing it.

Hope the rest of the Puddle Dc's are feeling better today. Smile

Tee2072 · 02/11/2012 15:24

Hi all

Well, LittleTee had no cough as of this morning so never mind about the doctor! Instead I shipped him off to his child minder, as planned, and just finished cleaning my entire house, top to bottom. My mom should be here around noon local time tomorrow after 1,000 hours of flying time. Grin

I probably won't be around much the next week or so while she's here. Except when I hide in the loo with my Kindle

DreamySleepyNightySnoozySnooze · 02/11/2012 16:01

Have a great week with your Mum, Tee. Glad LittleTee is feeling better. Smile

StateofConfusion · 02/11/2012 20:02

Have a great week tee glad littletees better now, dd is fine now, ds still coughing sporadically --attention seeking--
