I think Billy Crudup and Kate Hudson are fantastic casting in Almost Famous - as is the casting of the whole film.

Daniel Day Lewis in everything is brilliant. And Julianne Moore is great in everything.

I have never recovered from the wrongness of Cameron Diaz in Gangs Of New York or Anna Hathaway in Interstellar.

Yeah Olivia Coleman and Ruth Wilson in pretty much anything <3 The chemistry between Coleman and Buckley in Wicked Little Letters was fabulous.

Russell Crowe in Les Mis was a no for me. I've not been able to bring myself to watch Cats but I feel like if I did then every single person in it would also feature on the poor casting list....

Wasn't there a film where they cast Angelina Jolie as the mother of someone only a year younger than her? Awful decision. Actually if you delve into it, there’s a whole catalogue of dreadful films where an ageing male actor is paired with a love interest a third his age, while actresses his own age are cast as grandmothers—if they’re cast at all. Olivia Wilde at 29 was considered too old to be a love interest for Di Caprio in Wolf of Wall Street. He was 39 at the time.

Colin Farrell and Jolie were both in Alexander with him as the most unconvincing blond of all time, I think she was playing his mum 🤷‍♀️
