I’ve had a thought about the openings of avengers 4. What do you reckon to it starting with a scene of domestic tranquillity at Hawkeye’s home in the county and the sudden dusting of his wife and kids? I know Cap loves Bucky in a “definitely not gay” way and Stark feels responsible for Spider-Man but this would give Hawkeye real skin in the game

On the same theme - Ant Man and the Wasp is set between CW and IW (or so I have heard) - so perhaps will end with a similar dusting. End credits scene, maybe?

The ending wasn't emotional for me because I feel like everyone who disappeared will be back in the next movie.

Thor 3 was def the best, I like the more human, funny Thor rather than the I am DemiGid, I will save you, Natalie Portman can touch my hammer(Envy def envy)

As a lay person I assume it needs time travel to undo it because we can't have a dead Spider-Man when DH actually approves of the kid.

The Thor / GOTG stuff was good, I like irresponsible Iron Man in Dad mode to Spidey.

Less keen on the big war scenes re Black Panther team, they remind me of my messy least favourite bits of LOTR etc. 30 thousand hell dogs and none of our guys get a scratch, makes me stretch believability in a way that the treat of the movie doesn't. And bad man who was as attacking Dr Strange was giving me HP flashes of he who cannot be named

I don't like the huge battle scenes either , they are quite boring - very LoTR, that's what I was trying to remember.

Agree it wasn't sad, no one apart from Loki and Vision appears to be properly dead.

The one thing I wish they'd kept from the Black Panther battle scenes was the war rhinos. Why would you not send them into battle against Thanos's beasts?!

I’m hoping for Hawkeye in the Antman film as they were on the same side in Civil war and both out of action during IW.

Thought Iron Man and Dr Strange together was good as they’re both so arrogant.

Love Thor and Banner.

I’d also like to see Stark meet Shuri as she’d run rings round him!

There is rumours peppa potts will be involved properly in the next one. Has she still got powers? I think i would like her if she used them.
Yeah the gold people were making an adam. In an interview before Iw the writers said they couldnt intoduce adam in this one because he need a proper intoduction first. But they wanted him involved. So hopefully he will be on the next one.

The events in IW happened so quickly that I guess they couldn't really get their acts together.

I thought Natasha was on iron man's side though?

I'm not sure if Pepper still has powers. In IM3 Tony says he'll cure her and something about how he almost had it (the formula or whatever it was that gave everyone those powers we saw in IM3) worked out years ago and he was drunk then.

So I've always just assumed Pepper was cured.

I'd like to watch them in sequence I think, to try and understand what's happened. Although I'd like to miss the boring Thor the Boyfriend ones....and the Spider-Man ones....

And Thor 1 is good. He isn't a boyfriend until quite near the end, and Natalie Portman isn't at all drippy.

Back to IW I think I expected more death but I loved the reappearance of people - seeing them on the train platform was spine tingling.

Watch them in the order they came out so you don't ruin stuff for yourself. There's a reason why CA- the first avenger came out after iron man.
