According to dd, the film took a different turn to the comics.

She said in the infinity gauntlet - Thanos already had the stones and destroyed half the planet to show his love for mistress death? She says that Nebula is his granddaughter in the comics and waits until Thanos is in spirit form and then takes the gauntlet from him and is restored back to her normal self. Dd says nebula is still a baddie in the comics and she goes a bit power crazy - so apparently dr strange gets Adam Warlok (he’s not in Marvel cinema - not sure if he will be or not) to rescue thanos from the spirit realm and get him to help trick nebula turn the time back 24 hours, which puts nebula back to her weird robot self and undoes all of the deaths caused by thanos.
Warlock goes into the spirit realm using the spirit stone and manages to get the gauntlet to hurt nebula, so he can take it off her. He splits the stones up giving them to different people to protect them.
Dd was surprised Dr Strange was one of the ones turned to dust in the film, given how much he plays in the comics. She thinks he saved iron man deliberately, so that iron man can take over his role.
She’s not sure if captain marvel will be a big role instead of Adam Warlock, or if warlock will even become part of marvel cinema.
She thinks nebula will still be the big link and they will go down the spirit world route because that’s where thanos was at the end of the film, speaking to a little Gamora. I wonder if they will reach out to thanos’ humanity side which was shown in infinity war.
This kid gives me a headache - but it makes sense!
