Daniel Radcliffe will always be Harry Potter.

Ross Kemp will only ever be Grant Mitchell.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 01/08/2016 07:55

Ooh just thought: Lovejoy.

Don't even know the actors name without googling.

PanicHitsEarlyForMe · 01/08/2016 08:35

Lovejoy was Ian McShane.

SpidersFromMars · 01/08/2016 08:44

Morgan Freeman as God

KP86 · 01/08/2016 08:48

Lauren Graham is Lorelai Gilmore.

Twowrongsdontmakearight · 01/08/2016 08:50

Anyone in the soaps will always be remembered as their characters - or their next role which always seems to be in Holby City!

Mumberjack · 01/08/2016 08:53

All of the Friends cast will forever more be their characters.

Especially David schwimmer. They gave him a white streak of hair as Robert Kardashian in the people vs OJ Simpson but the way he said 'Juice' full of sorrow just made me think of him standing by Monica's fridge Grin

Kim82 · 01/08/2016 08:54

Jennifer Lawrence will always be Katniss Everdeen for me. I've seen her in other things but I can't separate her from that character.

MrsJayy · 01/08/2016 09:01

Samuel L jackson is just samuel L jackson

Russel Crowe is always Maximus from Gladiator so Russ

Enkopkaffetak · 01/08/2016 09:04

Nicholas Lyndhurst Rodney TrotteGweneth Strong - Cassandra Trotter
However I think we have accepted David Jason as other roles too. Odd actually.

MyBootsAreMuddy · 01/08/2016 09:05

David Jason will always be Del Boy to me, even though he's been in heaps of other things.

David Suchet (sp?) IS Hercule Poirot. We watched a Poirot a few months ago and it was a different actor in the role..... just couldn't get it to it as it just wasn't Hercule without David.

Peter Falk is Colombo, I couldn't picture him as anyone else.

JudyCoolibar · 01/08/2016 09:21

Now, Nicholas Lyndhurst for me can be either Gary Sparrow from Goodnight Sweetheart or the detective in New Tricks.

ThornyBird · 01/08/2016 09:27

Going back to Dr Who - Peter Davidson (Davison) was only ever Tristan from All Creatures Great and Small pretending to be the Dr. Like when he was in that GP comedy.

And 'Vitinry' himself was never quite right as a GP in Doctors. He should have stuck to animals.

I am aware I'm an old gimmer and this will be unintelligible gibberish to many Blush

AliceThrewTheFookingGlass · 01/08/2016 09:30

Sean william scott will always be stifler.

MrsJayy · 01/08/2016 09:34

Yes Peter Davidson was always Tristran never The Doctor

Scuttle22 · 01/08/2016 09:34

Richard Chamberlain - Ralf de Briccassart.

specialsubject · 01/08/2016 09:40

James nesbitt - always angsty Irish bloke.

Sean bean does always die, doesn't he?

Tollygunge · 01/08/2016 09:44

Ian Beale will always be Ian Beale

notamummy10 · 01/08/2016 09:54

A kiddies one:

Dani Harmer will always be Tracy Beaker, no matter what role she takes next! I

MrsJayy · 01/08/2016 09:56

Tracy Beaker had a baby recently how can that be true Shock

ShotsFired · 01/08/2016 10:07

Tolly beat me to it.

Ian Beale has always been, and always will be, Ian Beale.
Same goes for Nick Cotton. Aw'right Ma?

ShotsFired · 01/08/2016 10:08

Nicholas Cage will always be himself too.

Any film, any genre, any role. It's just NC being NC.

notamummy10 · 01/08/2016 10:09

I know... People are shocked that she's 27.

I started watching her at the age of 9, I'm now nearly 24!
