Am I the only one to be annoyed by these? Why the assumption that women are all permanent SAHMs?!!

What gives you that impression?

She hasn't indicated how wealthy or not she is or what assets or savings she has in her name due to working. She hasn't mentioned struggling or all her wages going on childcare. The only indication she's given about her home life is that she does in fact manage to eat a family meal with her children and none of them are obese or anxious messes just because she has a job.

She doesn't strike me as jealous at all. She clearly thinks SAHMs are lazy and letting the side down. That's not jealousy and it's so infantile that jealousy is always the first thing women jumper for when they don't like other women's opinions. Youn don't hear men saying "ignore him he's just JEALOUS" like 10 year olds in a play ground do you? It's embarrassing.

@SerenaCat93 I'm selectively ignoring that particular poster as she is adding nothing useful to the debate and just sniping. I work very hard but don't earn megabucks, so for her, work is pointless.
I'd love to know what it is she does for a living 😀

This irritates me in the same manner as adverts that portray women spinning around in ecstasy in their living rooms marvelling at the scent of their new air freshener.

There's so many of these lazy tropes tbf. At the other end of the spectrum there's the 'bumbling dad being corrected by the wise wife' trope, which would never ever happen the other way around because it'd be seen as sexism/mansplaining.

@Widoeeyes I think quite a significant proportion are? Even if all the children they have are in school I believe they still refer to themselves as SAHMs?
