My wife thinks I'm a sex machine.
Well, her exact words were, "fucking tool" but I know what she means.

Haha!

If you had to choose between a wonderful man or a wonderful cake, would you go for banana or chocolate?

But surely Jimmy Carr’s rape joke is not offensive. It is absurd, it is silly - because of how ridiculous it is that anyone would have an alarm set to remind him to rape someone.

I don’t actually like Jimmy’s jokes, he is quick witted but his one liners are not my taste at all.
Apart from that I note that I’m still failing at feministing properly because I have now laughed (well, at least chuckled) at jokes about men AND blondes.

I don't find Jimmy Carr's joke offensive but anyone who's offended easily shouldn't go to one of his shows. Personally, I like both him and Ricky Gervaise.

Keep it clean?
Sorry - why do we have to keep everything clean when men make everything dirty?

I agree about Jimmy Carr. It’s easy to have the knee-jerk reaction of “it’s a joke about rape”, when really the joke is that he has misunderstood what the term “rape alarm” means. It’s just a sort of semantics joke, but with the added shock value that he’s talking about rape. I’ve been to see him live and I think he’s clever. I think the schtick is a bit done-to-death now but maybe my tastes have changed.

I liked the way Jimmy Carr had an American audience as he knows Americans have a reputation for being easily offended and told all the most offensive jokes he could!
