Hope to be around a bit this week but on the onwards and upwards line not the low and sad one. Decided to take a positive attitude starting now and hope not to disappoint myself. i should be here if anyone needs an ear! Have a good week everyone......

3 year course in Midwifery. Then can do an extra year as I work to gain my degree. I am SOOOO excited at the prospect. But don't know how we'll manage with childcare.

gossifer · 06/06/2005 10:56

i'm taking everything possible & have been 4 days!
toothache - good on you!

Sax · 06/06/2005 10:57

Good for you, it will be hard with the children though. i guess I'm lucky to have my career before children, I just don't want to go back at the moment but needs must, finacial pickle etc.

One of the reasons I need to sort my mind out and not feel so out of control!!!

OP posts:
Sax · 06/06/2005 11:01

Can't be doing too badly today, since we've been chatting, I've changed two nappies, put 9m old for sleep, made other sons sandwiches and drink for lunch and broken up two squabbles - coping today obcviously!!!!

Ah finances!! Having financial worries can consume you. Dealing with that makes a big difference.

Sax · 06/06/2005 11:06

The power of the mind has freaked me out - when you think you are in control then realise actually what the hell is happening to me????

Sax - I used to phone DH in hysterics at work and tell him to get home NOW.... coz I was so scared of the thoughts running around my own head. Being out of control is the scariest thing in the world.

Sax · 06/06/2005 11:09

I didn't ever have panic attacks til about a month ago, but since on tabs only had one but they frightened me witless, with the three boys and just needing to get home NOW!!!!!!

Sax · 06/06/2005 13:02

I half mowed the lawn yesturday so must finish that, make numerous phone calls which I'm just avoiding right now and pick up ds1 at 2.15!!! then sort dinner etc etce etc how about you - taking it easy i hope!

OP posts:
gossifer · 06/06/2005 13:06

how long each day does ds1 go to nursery for? is that the norm or is everyone different? i don't know anything abut this, YET!
we are taking it v.easy, might sort dinner out, but waiting for dp to come home so i can have a big long bath........yum, you never answered about your name?

Sax · 06/06/2005 13:10

he goes to nursery 5 mornings now, built up slowly over time - Monday though they go at lunchtime so they learn to open lunchboxes and get into PE kit to prepare them for school! its a fab nursery but the other days he is there in the mornings, only 9.30 - 12.15, never long enough. What name do you mean?

OP posts:
gossifer · 06/06/2005 13:11

sax - was it because you like to play??

Sax · 06/06/2005 13:15

i think I sort of answered at 10.06 just saying I want to learn but only get time between pregnancies and after babies are older than newborn - i love the sound of the sax so yes thats why i chose the name - I'm also on another forum and wanted something different from that one although i'm sure others will work me out from my circumstances.

OP posts:
Sax · 06/06/2005 13:17

Btw do you really think you may be pregnant again? how would you feel if you were?

OP posts:
gossifer · 06/06/2005 13:19

right, gonna attempt to cook something for dinner, see how long i feel good for!! good to meet you sax and i hope your week is good, will check in later
i totally look up to anyone with one baby let alone 3, my thoughts are with you

gossifer · 06/06/2005 13:22

just missed your post, we had a slip up quite a while ago, maybe i'm just being neurotic! its hard when you don't have periods!

when i was pregnant with ds i got really run down (like now) i'd done a test and it was negative, waited a while and went to docs and lo and behold i was!
so, will let you know weds

if i was it wouldn't be ideal, moneywise, no maternity pay, ouch! but i'd be happy that one day they'd close in age i guess

Sax · 06/06/2005 13:23

good to meet you too gossifer, thanks for the chat, see you again!

OP posts:
Sax · 06/06/2005 13:24
