Oh by the power - please remember that the stuff that happened to you was in no way at all your fault! You were a child ffs!!!!!!!!!Anyone who does that to a child is pure EVIL!!!! I just want to give you the biggest hug in the world! You seem like such a lovely lady, wife, mummy dispite the fact you have been to hell and back! I really, really hope you get better mentally very soon so that you can be the person you want and deserve to be in life! x x x

mooseloose · 19/01/2010 21:10

Hi, hope you are all okay, a gloomy day here, but I just checked the forecast and can't see we will get any snow!

I am feeling a bit better about things. I have been at work this morn, and really wanted to come home after, but made myself go to the garden centre to chill! I really wanted to come home though - does that happen to you too? just crave 'home'?

I haven't really been panicked and shaky, and stomach churning like before, but have been really bad tempered - everything annoys me, nothing is right. I've really tried hard to bite my tongue the last day or so - dh must think I've turned into a witch!

I've had really vivid dreams the last five nights or so, and not a lot of sleep, so guess that doesn't help!

Thanks for your kind words all. Keep your pecker up Grey - brave lady - I really have nothing to moan about x

what's occuring moose? I've never seen your name on another thread

We have NO snow woohoo!! Has been raining all day and is very dull. Went to tesco and managed to get round ok, even though my chest was very tight and hurts, but I think that is down to how much I've been coughing. I now have Ribena though which I've been craving! I can't drink tea with a sore throat, I like hot Ribena so hopefully that will sort me out!

Glad you've been feeling better moose. Hope you had a better nights sleep last night.

Is dh home now Yommy?

Hope you are ok Greyskull. Keep coming back and talking to us xx

Hi to everyone else

YommyMommy · 20/01/2010 17:27

Evening Ladies,

I am so sad today as I have to say goodbye to my friend who is leaving for Saudi in the morning! Keep welling up everytime I think about saying good bye to them all! I think I will be glad when this day is over!

Well done Blissa for making it round tesco! but yuk to hot ribena!! lol! Hot juice is just wrong - lol! It gives me the bolk!! (SP)? But I hope it makes you feel better!

Moose - glad you are feeling better. I get that feeling of 'wanting to go home' a lot of the time, but I just make myself go wherever I am headed or I don't think I would ever leave the house.

I have been so bored today - been stuck in all day as the weather has been so crappy.

DH is home later tonight! Woo Hoo! Cant wait to have some adult company

Hey to everyone else!

Hope you are all well! x x x

YommyMommy · 20/01/2010 19:37

Well goodbye are said Crying my eyes out! lol! I have to say I am glad its over! Feel like I have had it hanging over me all day!

Can get the boys into bed now and have a wee cuppa n all before my DH comes home!

Hope you are all having a nice and less emotional night than I am! lol x x x

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 20/01/2010 19:43

evening all
Yommy sorry to hear you are saying goodbye to some of your friends, are they going for ever?
Blissa Hot ribena is my saviour it is one of my favorite hot drinks well done for getting round tesco, it is a horrid place at the best of times let anlone when you are feeling anxious.
Moose... was that you banging on about bad language? I have to say I agree with you that 90% of it is unnecessary, although I have to say that when I fell into DS1's lego box at 3am when he was having a nightmare the first word out of my mouth was F*&K.

I needed to have a quiet day today just me and DS2 bonding and doing jigsaws but DS1 was sent home after vomiting in assembly. He has been sick about every 1-2 hours since 10 am and isn't even keeping water down. thankfully DH is now home and is helpng with bed time and switching washing loads and cleaning the sick off the sofa and carpets. I am steeling myself for a long night.

Anyway
Hope everyone is well.

kurves · 21/01/2010 19:23

I am scared of the wii fit its so rude to me

YommyMommy · 22/01/2010 11:52

Morning Ladies,

How are you all?? Been a not quite on here, hope its cos you are all busy and panic free

I am good! So glad to have DH home with us!!

Was out for anice meal last night with my friends! Was a good night, but not a great meal! Although I had a bit of a panic half way through! ( more of a kinda spaced out feeling than a panic to be honest) but I juts sat through it, once it had passed I was fine!

So glad its friday, again! Hope the boys will have a wee lie in tomorrow. DS2 has started sleeping much better! I think its because he is walking now and he doesn;t stop all day! We took them to the local softplay yesterday n they both had loads of fun, but DS2 what shattered when we left! lol! Think we are going to visit Grandma today! Or might just go to the park as its nice outside! Although the ground is still wet!

Anyway, hope you are all well x x x

blissa · 22/01/2010 12:55

Oh Yommy you'll be telling me you don't like cold baked beans next.... Ribena is the only juice I like hot, and it really does help when you have a cold. I meant to get on here the other day when your friends were leaving, hope you're ok. Good to hear you had a night out, even if the food wasn't great.

How is Ds1 today Greyskull? Poor thing, being sick is horrible. Hope you are all ok.

What is the wii fit saying to you kurves?!

Another grey day here. The sun came out yesterday afternoon so I took ds and his friend to the park- it was sooo cold! They enjoyed it, playing football and rolling in the mud .

It's ds's birthday on sunday, so I have just got back from getting his presents. We were in Next the other day and he saw a Mario bros lunchbox he wanted, so I've been back to get it for him.

Still coughing like a gud un, but on the mend!

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 22/01/2010 13:00

Hi ladies,
good to see you.
DS1 is back at school today YAY!! and DS2 has been at playgroup, I had a reflexology treatment whilst I had some time and it was fabulous.
I am feeling jittery again like I did before I upped my meds last time, can feel the blood pumping through my veins constantly and feeling quite fight or flighty. don't really want to go up again, but it isn't long until monday and hopefully we can get some progress made during my next session.

bbl got to do lunch for DS2

YommyMommy · 23/01/2010 15:45

Hey Girls,

Hope you are all having a nice weekend! Just back from my friends house, had a lovely wee afternoon there! DS2 is shattered, but don;t thin he is going to go over for a nap so will have a moaner until bedtime . DH has gone diving, hopefully will get a chinese tonight n chill out.

How are you feeling BTP? Hope the jittery feeling goes away soon, its horrible!

Blissa - I hope you are joking about the cold beans, lol! Can;t think of anything more horrible! Although my mum loved cold beans and cold mac n cheese when she was pregnant with me! lol! I neve really had any cravings with the boys, I love drinking milk though, made myself pretty sick of it and haven't had a glass since DS2 was born!

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well!

Happy Birthday to DS for tomorrow Blissa! Hope you all have a wonderful day x x x

mooseloose · 24/01/2010 21:04

Hi all, I have had a nice chill out day today, bit of housework, but of gardening etc. Had a panic attck on Fri at work, but managed to sort it on my own. My tummy just kicked out as I walked in to work, and that was it, tight chest, and there it went!

Grey, I know exactly what you mean about feeling the blood pumping, I had it 24/7 and it took months and months to go, but it did, and it still has gone, even though I've 'revved' up a bit again lately. I have had a lot of reflexology and it made me feel like I was walking on air as I walked out. So nice.

I have been going pilates, and that really calms me from the inside, makes me feel nice - but it hurts my back, and I can't say I am any more toned that if I didn't go!

hello everyone else x

Hi moose, good to hear you have had a good day, and also good to hear that you managed to get yourself back when you were at work, I know that sounds wierd but being able to get yourself back is a huge thing, in a very non partonising manner, Well done

I had a reflexology treatment from a friend on Friday but it wasn't great, I need to talk to her and am not sure how, the only time I get benefit from massage or reflexology is by being alone with myself in my head, and because she is my friend we talked alot about life, her daughter, their house move, etc.

I haven't got a meeting tomorrow it has been rescheduled till Wednesday, so I think I am going to go into town for a coffee, ALONE, I can't wait.

Not sure if you work on a Monday Moose, but hope all goes well if you do, you can do this, you are a strong and fabulous woman.

mooseloose · 24/01/2010 22:25

Thank Grey - you need to tell yourself that too......... I 'm not at work tommorow. Have a nice day then, have that coffee with cake!

When I was really bad and went running with my friend I just talked to her the whole day, and the time just flew by, it helped a lot!

It's so funny though, because the things that were going on in my head were so unlike me, it just shows how powerful your thoughts can be. I still don't feel like the old me though, I don't think I will be. I just feel fragile, if that makes sense, and it makes me cross.

Am going bed now, stayed up to watch the fools and horses thing, but fell asleep, so logging off now!

Have a try of the pilates, it does me the world of good x

OP posts:
ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 25/01/2010 12:19

didn't get to town period arrived last night with a jolt and I never feel confident going anywhere on day 1 (too much of a mess)

I started running last summer and loved it, perhaps now the days are getting longer I will be backout there.

Hope everyone has a good week

blissa · 26/01/2010 14:14

Hi ladies

Hope you are having a better day at work today moose. Well done for getting through Friday.

I'm sorry you didn't get to go out yesterday Greyskull. I know what you mean about not wanting to venture out on day one though. I hope tomorrow goes well.

Not joking about the cold beans Yommy I used to eat a whole tin cold when I was younger!

Ds had a lovely birthday. All my family came over and I managed to serve up a nice roast! We ended up playing a dance game on the wii- even my dad got up and had a go it was a laugh!

blissa · 26/01/2010 14:18

Had a call from the drs this morning asking whether I want ds to have the swine flu jab. I wasn't sure at first but he is booked to have it on saturday. I spoke to a couple of parents at pre-school when I picked him up and their dcs have had it with no problems. I don't know if I am doing the right thing??? It's hard this parenting business

Have tentatively made a start to my get fit mission. Did some dancing n the wii this morning and some sit ups. Am supposed to be going power walking with a friend tomorrow. We used to go ages ago, when I was getting ready to do Race for Life, but then we stopped.

YommyMommy · 26/01/2010 16:37

Afternoon Ladies!

Moose - Well done for getting through the panic at work! Hope it is better for you this week!!! I know what you mean about never getting back to the old you moose! I think that all the time about myself too, but I am a lot closer to the old me than I was when this whole anxiety thing started! I think I am just living with it now, rather than trying to fight it all the time! I can honetly say that I am a lot happier now that I have have felt for a while now, long may it last!!! Although like you I have days where I just feel very fragile, but i get throught them (we all do) and what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger, right???

BTP - sorry to hear you never got out for your coffee - sounded like you were so looking forward to it too! I hope you have been able to go out since??? I used to get that with my period too, but it has calmed down a bit in recent months, so not been as heavy.

Blissa - so glad to hear that your DS had a great birthday - sounds like you all had fun!!! Is that him 4 now? Where does the time go?? . I haven;t heard anything about flu jabs for the boys, but I think I will get them done anyway. Your right though, all these decisions! Just wish someone could make the hard choices for us!!! I still think its safer for the kids to have the jag rather than the actual swine flu . I am realy thinking hard about the getting fit business too, keep saying I am going to do things and never do We should make a pack, Blissa, to get fit together! I done sit ups the other day, really want to do some running, but not sure where to start on it - any tips moose?? I have a problem with my hip so would have to watch what I was doing!!! Feel like I have all this energy that I need to burn off!!! lol! I am really unfit though - so power walking would be a good place to start for me I think! Wish we lived closer, we could power walk together!!!

DS and DH are making pizza for tea tonight! lol! DH is a good cook, not sure about DS though! WIll let you all know how it goes!!!

I have Docs appointment tomorrow to see about getting a mole under my eye cut off! Its never really bothered me, but its been getting a little bit bigger lately and I have noticed that in pics its becoming more prominant! SO, its getting the chop, lol! Nervous about the procedure already but i'd rather have it off!

Hi to everyone else!

kurves · 26/01/2010 17:22

hi girls i have ben haveing a bit of a rough time lately if you really want to see the madness that i have been goin through look up.

evil ex wanted me to marry him but he is illegal what do i do.

yep and that will explain it all it was him that made the panic attacks really bad when i first came on here so now i try to stay away from stress i am getting on my feet and taking it one day at a time i been sleeping alot and going to the gym but i know that i will get over this slowly but surly i had alot of good support on here . i do not know what i would do if i did not have mums net cause i thought i would go loopy and start to have attacks but ok.

moose
i had mine cut off and it will be ok be over before you know it.

mooseloose · 26/01/2010 22:44

hi, Blissa ds had swine flu jab because of his asthma, and he was fine, went to school, but just complained of an achy arm, nothing else!
Hope you all ok x

OP posts:
kurves · 27/01/2010 01:53

mylittle ones had the jab 2 both wereok so your little one should be mine mines has asthma.

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 27/01/2010 22:39

evening all,
just popping on my way to bed, how are you all?
we have dithered here about the swine flu stuff, need to get decisions made though, but perhaps not making the decision is the decision if you know what I mean (can you tell that I procrastinate alot?)

Had a delayed meeting today, usually on Mondays but she had to reschedule. It feels very strange letting someone else into my head. you think after 18 months I would be used to it.
at least today I managed to get an understanding of what I want to get from all this. I am not looking to erase memories, that is unrealistic. I want to be able to detach physical memories from the "story" at the moment I get pulled back in too easily.

anyway got to go to bed now, need to be fresh tomorrow, have tax return to do in the morning!

blissa · 28/01/2010 11:13

Hi girls

Hope the docs went ok Yommy. You're right, we should kick eachother up the bum support and encourage eachother to get fit. I did nothing yesterday and won't today either!

I'm glad yesterdays session went well Greyskull. That makes a lot of sense- you won't be able to get rid of the memory, just detach the emotions from it?? Good luck with the tax return!

Dp and I have discussed the jab and ds will be having it on saturday

YommyMommy · 28/01/2010 20:26

Evening Ladies,

Just a wee quick message today! I am so tired, yawn, yawn!!!

Been having a nice few days with the family, just enjoying last few days of DH company, although he had man flu again . Today has been such a long day so was glad to get out for a walk tonight. Done 3 brisk laps pf the park! Blissa - kick up the butt to do something tomorrow, lol!

Grey - sound like you are finally on the right path to getting what you want from the councelling! Hope it all works out for you!!!

Hey to everyone else! Hope all is well!

Going to ready DS his bedtime story then will head to bed myself!

Goodnight all x x x
