She was in a bad way in the early hours of this morning, has anyone had any contact with her at all today? Am quite worried about her.

You are not dirty. Never, ever in a million years are you dirty. It is the dirty one and it is in prison. YOu've said you don't want to ue the money, but you have it. Could you not find a high interest savings account and then ignore it?

differentID · 30/08/2008 10:57

I see why you feel that way though.

LackaDAISYcal · 30/08/2008 11:10

ns, just caught up with this thread, and I'm so sorry you are feeling like this , but it's understandable that the CICA payment has brought it all back to you.

I can only imagine how you must be feeling, and although I don't feel that I've got anything to add to what has been said to you already, I just wanted to let you know I'm here if you need me....you still have my email, yes?

Maybe, we should get together with Knickers for a coffee, or something? I'd love to meet you both

needsupport · 30/08/2008 11:11

i dont know what to do with it.i never thought i would feel this way about it.it was supposed to help us but its destroying me

needsupport · 30/08/2008 11:12

im not up to seeing anyone.im truly not.i havent left the house in days

LackaDAISYcal · 30/08/2008 11:13

I can only suggest that you stick it in a high interest account and forget about it until you feel that you can deal with it.

It'll still be there when you need it

differentID · 30/08/2008 11:16

If it's in a bank/building society account, you can leave it until you feel able to cope. The money won't be in the house and you can start on the path to coping again. You weren't expecting it when it arrived and were already not sleeping so it was the final straw. Then, when you have J sorted with his feeding and sleeping and have begun to get some rest you will feel a bit stronger. After that, you can decide what to do, if anything, with it.

LackaDAISYcal · 30/08/2008 11:16

I think you need to get out though, even if it's just to take J to the swings; all this turning inwards can be very destructive. I do it myself and it just gets me further and further into a rut and feeling more and more depressed.

But, my depression seems like a drop in the ocean compared to what you are going through

MatNanPlus · 30/08/2008 11:28

Morning NS,

your having a tough time but you are doing great with J, he is getting into the plan and tho you feel in a bad place you are meeting his needs and putting them above your own, that is true mothering.

Can you take him for a walk today? No where special just to get the 2 of you out for a bit?

Is the RW helping?

Put the CICA into an account and deal with it at another time.

Am here for you. xx

MatNanPlus · 30/08/2008 17:26

Great for napping NS yes, i always get a fuzzy head when i get extra needed sleep it is normal so don't let it put you off catching as many naps as you can, i find the best way of dealing with the fuzziness is to get up and have a face wash and tooth brushing weird
