Crisis team

Olimar · 06/01/2024 15:51

I've been put under the crisis team again. I don't need them, I'm not depressed or suicidal. I had to agree to have them to get out of hospital, otherwise they were going to section me. Now they are telling me I need to sleep and that all humans need to sleep. Well I don't so maybe I'm not human, I mean I don't remember being born so I could have come from another planet instead.

You sound like you probably need the crisis team

Infertilitylady · 06/01/2024 16:17

Hey op. Ofcourse you need sleep , everybody does . Your thinking sound weird , why do you think you came from another planet ? That’s not possible ? Or is this some kind of joke thread ?

blackpanth · 06/01/2024 16:18

Everyone needs sleep

Discomboobulated · 06/01/2024 16:20

When did you last have any sleep?

Discomboobulated · 06/01/2024 16:23

I saw your other thread where you say you have stopped taking all your medication. Hope you are ok.

TrivialSoul · 06/01/2024 16:28

Crisis team aren't always the best fit for everyone but please listen to them this time, we do all need sleep, even if we don't feel human. Your body needs to rest and repair and sleep is the best way to do this. If you don't feel like you need it, could you class it as a necessity in order to live? Like we need to eat even sometimes when we don't feel hungry, we need to drink water even when we would rather not. Get some sleep and keep yourself safe.

Olimar · 06/01/2024 16:28

@Discomboobulated in hospital they made me take a zopiclone so I slept even though I didn't need to. It was what I had to agree to to get out of there. Also I had to eat marmite on toast but luckily I like marmite otherwise that would have been bad.

OP have you stopped taking your medication now you’re out? Not needing to sleep can be a symptom of mania. Hope you’re ok.

Mynewnameis · 06/01/2024 16:33

When my dh was under the crisis team they told mea mh crisis was much easier to address after sleep. I'd be inclined to agree with them. They don't just accept anyone who wants this level of care.

LetMeOut2021 · 06/01/2024 16:38

Take the meds.

Scutterbug · 06/01/2024 16:42

Oh bless you. They must be worried to put you under the crisis team. You sound like you have some disordered thinking, when I have been like this I have also been under the crisis team or hospitalised. It could be you are experiencing some psychosis. What medications were you on and have you stopped taking them? I’m on anti psychotic medication but hate that it makes me tired. I often want to stop them and be able to stay awake. Keep talking x

Olimar · 06/01/2024 16:59

I don't need to take meds anymore, I'm not depressed or suicidal, I feel fantastic. The meds just make it easy for them to control my brain but I am too powerful without them and they are scared of me. I need my brain working at full strength this year, it's going to be amazing.

OP posts:
Discomboobulated · 06/01/2024 17:06

That does sound like mania OP.

Flowersbutpain · 06/01/2024 17:25

Hi OP, I understand why you are keen to avoid being sectioned as I’ve been in the same position myself. Your best option is to try to go along with their requests re. the medication so you can get treated in the community, otherwise you will get sectioned and lose your rights to refuse treatment completely.
I know it is hard to trust the MH staff when you are feeling like this but they really do want to help you.
Take care xxx

Infertilitylady · 06/01/2024 17:34

@Olimar obviously you have some metal health problems previously , otherwise you would of never been in the hospital to begin with , so take your meds because you are not thinking clearly . They are not there to hurt you , but to help you but you seem to think they are against you and that’s your devil talking in your brain .

Infertilitylady · 06/01/2024 17:36

@Olimar why was you on meds before ? What mental health condition did you have ? Depression ? Well depression doesn’t just go away so you need the tablets , your messages on here sound like you are not thinking straight .

Olimar · 06/01/2024 18:07

@Infertilitylady I was on Lamotrigine, Flupentixol and Clonazepam tablets and aripiprazole depot, which is a lot of medication and shows how powerful my brain is that they needed all those to control me. I was depressed but I'm not anymore and I'm definitely not suicidal. I have great plans for this year, I can do anything now I'm free and I'm going to be a millionaire very soon.

Wolfiefan · 06/01/2024 18:11

Honestly OP you sound extremely unwell. All humans need sleep and food. Medication doesn’t work like you describe. It’s not to control you. And you don’t need more because your mind is stronger. No one is scared of you. You were just very unwell. You need to be open and honest to the team and cooperate.

Infertilitylady · 06/01/2024 18:28

@Olimar sorry I feel like this is a wind up or not ? Your brain is too powerful ? What the heck ? No it doesn’t work like that ! You were on medication for a reason ! You were depressed and probably still are now but you are not realising that . Depression doesn’t just go away after taking some tablets for some time . If you only just stopped taking them then I can understand that you feel good because the withdrawal affects haven’t fit you yet , but it will soon and you’ll fall back into the black hole if you don’t take your meds regularly . And that’s great you don’t feel suicidal , I hope you never do because that’s not the answer to any problem . And also why do you think you’re going to be a millionaire ?

setmestraightplease · 06/01/2024 18:38

@Olimar I was depressed but I'm not anymore and I'm definitely not suicidal. I have great plans for this year, I can do anything now I'm free and I'm going to be a millionaire very soon.

Can you share what plans you have for this year? Is being a millionaire important to you?

Umph · 06/01/2024 18:45

Do you have a family @Olimar?

Olimar · 06/01/2024 18:48

I'm not going share my plans because I think they are reading this too and they have surveillance equipment already in my house that they put here when I was in hospital.

OP posts:
Infertilitylady · 06/01/2024 18:52

@Olimar you sound a bit paranoid that they will read your messages on here . They don’t know your login info do they ? So they can’t read it . Why did they put cameras into your house for ? I never heard of that

OP has said on other threads that she has Bipolar and psychotic episodes so (assuming this thread is genuine) it seems that she is manic at the moment.
