Hi everyone-
There's been some lovely support on a recent thread and I thought expanding it out could get more of us talking?

I have a Drs appointment tomorrow to discuss my second opinion. I'm pretty stressed as I got a call a week ago asking me to come in but I couldn't get an appt sooner- so I made myself a week worrying about what was happening. Services make me paranoid 🙈 I'm struggling not to use negative strategies atm.

Hope there's someone out there x

Are the carers there for your mental health? What do they say about the possibility of extra help? Sometimes it's hard to see ourselves objectively as obviously we're emotionally involved!

The carers are for physical reasons, not MH. IDK what to say, i said I'd think about it over the weekend.

My H is being a total dick he has a cold, it’s my fault because I have been to get essentials from the shops therefore I must be a carrier and have given him something he’s being vile. I have to escape the house once a day usually 20 minutes in my car so I get some peace and quiet. My self harm has increased and my H only cares about himself

Hello @UpOnDown, how are you doing? How’s it going with your carers?

I’m not great, things have got worse and I’m struggling a lot with bad anxiety around my safe foods and anorexia. Trying not to lose weight as they have mentioned inpatient a few times, although not sure what would happen now with CV. The ED team have been brilliant, as has my GP who keeps phoning to check on me so at least I’m being well looked after.

I'm still trying to minimise the carers coming in. I'm having daily contact at the moment from CMHT. So things aren't great for me either.

I'm sorry things have got worse for you @Star8181 , I'm not sure what happens with inpatient and CV, I guess if they thought things were bad enough they'd admit you? I'm glad you're being well looked after though, and I hope things improve for you soon
