Basically the title I got admitted last night by the police was assessed and I agreed to go into hospital so waiting for a bed but I dont want to. Today i asked to go home as I feel fine but they wont let me they have all agreed I have to go in and are waiting for a hed to be available to place me on the section so I'm stuck in a room with 2 members off staff and cant go anywhere I hate it. The staff are nice but I'm taking up space I dont need to be here.

Chocolatethief · 19/09/2019 03:27

I've left I didn't feel I could keep myself safe so there was no point being there

You have left A&E?

Jesaminecollins · 19/09/2019 04:57

@Chocolatethief

You are in desperate need of treatment for your problems. Please ask to be referred to a counselor or someone who can help you.

Phycadelicsilhouette · 19/09/2019 07:29

@Chocolatethief where are you this morning? I hope you’ve managed to get some sleep.

Wolfiefan · 19/09/2019 11:22

Are you home now?

Someonesayroadtrip · 19/09/2019 11:34

Hope you're ok OP

HeartStrings · 19/09/2019 12:10

Hope you're ok OP?

Chocolatethief · 19/09/2019 12:35

Yeah I left as I wasnt going to be able to stay safe and it felt to busy I felt in the way managed to stay safe at home and get some sleep though going to ring my care co as I cant go on like this, if they had cancelled to ambulance i probably wouldn't be here now and that thought doesn't even scare me but I can still recognize slightly that I need help, doubt I will get it though

Wolfiefan · 19/09/2019 12:42

You did the right thing by doing what you needed to do to stay safe. It’s awful to have to keep chasing the help. But do. You deserve to feel well.

Trooperslaneagain · 19/09/2019 12:58

@Chocolatethief it's really, really hard to be sectioned.

My DM had severe dementia and was in a terrible state and we still couldn't manage it, though she was clearly a massive danger to herself.

Add into the bargain Dsis and I both live a short flight away and she still didn't qualify. I'm not a MH prof but stay where you are. I promise it's the right decision.

Big hugs.

Chocolatethief · 19/09/2019 12:58

It doesn't feel like I'm doing the right thing so it's hard to keep trying but I'm doing my best to, this thread definitely makes me feel less alone

Wolfiefan · 19/09/2019 13:15

You’re not alone and you are most certainly doing the right thing. Keep trying. Flowers

cakeandchampagne · 19/09/2019 13:35

Are you taking your medication? Are you eating? I’m glad you got some sleep.

Phycadelicsilhouette · 19/09/2019 13:42

Keep on trying, it’s definitely the right thing. I’m glad you got some sleep too. What’s going on today? Are you at home? Is there anything you could do to distract yourself? Do you watch any t.v? I hope you manage to get something good to eat in today. I’m glad this thread makes you feel less alone. Keep on talking, you matter.

Chocolatethief · 19/09/2019 14:17

I woke up not feeling good so an at my friends as her and her neighbour are doing some gardening so sat out with them while they do it, yes I'm on medication and do take it and it helps with what its suppose to but currently out as I didn't get it back from the hospital so been to the doctors to try and sort that out today

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 19/09/2019 14:18

You’re doing really well. Seeking company and getting the medication.

Phycadelicsilhouette · 19/09/2019 14:34

You’re doing incredibly well like Wolfie said. You are being proactive to meet your needs. Please keep on doing even these little big things! What are they doing in the garden? Are you eating with them today?

Chocolatethief · 19/09/2019 14:44

Have eaten half a sandwich from Gregg's and they are de weeding and turning all the soil up for now and yeah I'm just trying to stay busy it's easier during the day than night time, got a cold and the start of a migraine though which isn't helping but took medication for the migraine, what is anyone else doing today

Sitting outside every day is recommended to help with depression, even if it's just 10 minutes. (In fact it's recommended for everyone, as it generates Vitamin C.)

Good that you have least eaten something. Care to share a virtual cuppa with me? BrewBrew

TheSilveryPussycat · 19/09/2019 15:00

*Vitamin D

Chocolatethief · 19/09/2019 15:04

Indeed I will share a cuppa with you I'm in the shade so its not the warmest so could do with it, doctors have rung and they have sorted my prescription out, when my friend is back from her appointment I will go get it

Love a shop sandwich! I don’t know why, just feels like a treat! Sounds like tiring work but it’ll be worth it when the garden is ready to grow again! I’ll be about this evening if you wanted to chat on here. Also have some good tv recommendations for a distraction if you have Netflix? I hope your cold and migraine ease off soon but annoyingly that gets worse at night too, try echinasia, it’s herbal and was recommended to me just today! I’ve been gardening today too actually, well, garden cleaning... tediously therapeutic lol. Hoping to get my garden growing soon too! Have you collected your prescription yet?

Wolfiefan · 19/09/2019 16:29

I love a shop sandwich too! And getting outside always makes me feel just a little better. Hope you’ve got your medication now.
