A good night although p1 was awake early as her bed was too hot...

They are quite whiney and short fused but not really surprised! I will be heading out late this afternoon just to get some pumblettes free time.... Just sitting in the car with radio 4 on would be bliss.

However if one more person tells me how awful the second bout of chicken pox in siblings in I may hit them...I don't need to know that at the moment!!

People do love to pass on bad news, don't they? Twats!

There is wall to wall blue sky & sunshine here & hope you have the same too.

Sitting in the car + radio sounds like an excellent plan.

A long night ahead....p1 sobbing and itchy and can't sleep. Thank goodness it's not just me tonight as I haven't managed to make myself able to be in two places at once yet!

Poor wee P1 - so pleased to hear that Mr P is home.

Did you get a wee bit of time off?

Night not too bad in the end. Cabin fever set in though and p1 very whiney.

P 3 just took 60ml expressed milk in a bottle though SmileSmile. It means it's possible SmileSmile

Girls in garden as v windy but dry so at least they're getting some fresh air.

Hoping P1 is a bit better today & that you are making the most of Mr P being at home.

Sending you a PM - don't think you got my last one.

I went out for the night without any pumblettes. Left mr P with unsettled children but because I was being picked up by a friend couldn't cancel. It was just what I needed and feel so much better although praying for a quiet night as may have had the odd glass of wine.....!

So please to hear you had a night out.

Your in laws are out laws & I really wouldn't worry about them. You share no genes or blood with them.

Yes, one day all this tiredness will vanish ( as long as you don't go for P4 !!!!!!!!!!!!).

Crappy GP = never go & see him (am assuming it was a male) again unless emergency.

How goeth the pox?

As you can see I am back from ' furrin parts'.

We had an amazingly lovely holiday, celebrated DH's 3 score years & ten & (I almost hesitate to tell you) had wall to wall sunshine from 7am until 7pm every day for 10 days. And don't ask about my sun tan!

So sorry to hear about round II of the pox. Am assuming it's P2 who now has it & P3 is OK?

Run sounds great - might be tempted to wear a pad if it were me!

Grey & wet here am hoping it will clear soon so I can get a walk in.

Are you home for Christmas or going to your Mum's? (Assume there is no way you'd be going to PILs Grin )

Just shouted at pumblettes and sobbed... P3 hasn't stopped screaming for hours, p1 is being rude and stroppy, p2 is constantly shouting and demanding things instantly and I just lost it. I feel awful but I am so fed up with p1 and p2s attitude. And just feeling a little worn down by it all! I should have controlled my emotions more and have apologised but I just couldn't take it anymore, p3s screaming was he final straw

Is it too early for gin?!

OP posts:

magimedi · 21/12/2015 22:38

It is never too early for gin.

The Pumblettes will not remember your shouting when they are older & they sound like they deserved it. They are mini people in the making, you are the 'groan' up (my DS's words) & if they push you too far they get a reaction.

Shouting is not bad at all & it sounds as if it was the consequence of their behaviour, which is a lesson they have to learn. They are old enough now ( P1 & P2) to realise that.

I don't think you need to apologise at all.

Hope they all sleep well tonight.

Hope you survived tesco...are you finished now?

I'm finding Christmas v hard this year. I usually love it but not this year. I feel on edge and want to curl in a ball and cry rather than be part of it all. I am fine and sure it's not PND -it's just bloody Christmas.Confused
