Yes counselling was very insightful

I feel rotten, have the lurgy coming on; on the plus side I have a very sexy husky voice, on the downside I have no-one to use it on.

Ghast

I think that having no one to use that voice on, when about to have a lurgy, is a blessing. Would you really want to go for it?

Joking aside, I really hope you get shot of lurgy asap.

Pumble

Just make sure you bury him without trace - under the patio is not a good one!!

Love to you both - (((xxx)) (((xxx)))

Sincerely hope he has made it out his bed by now!

Otherwise - in a very MumsNet reply.....................................................

LTB!!!

Joking apart hope he is better & all is OK with you & the Pumblettes.

PFGD has started creche - left for an hour on Friday. DIL sat in the car & sobbed - my heart goes out to her. DIL goes back to work in about 2 weeks.

PFGD has 3 hours of creche on Monday.............

You probably don't want to know the cost of childcare in France - 2/1 ratio of staff to babes & 35 hours a week = 40 Euros!!!!!!!!!!

Mr P was admitted this morning. Thankfully he's home now with killer antibiotics and an appointment with the consultant to look at his kidneys. His immune system started attacking his body Confused. A difficult day but we all survived and pumblettes almost in bed.... I definitely need a drink tonight.

So please to hear that Mr P is home.

I hope he is taking some sick leave from work............ or I will be round to tell him about it!

You deserve a very large gin Wine

Maybe this will be a wake up call for Mr P - he sounds as if he needs to just take a bit more time to relax, sleep & enjoy life.

Big hugs, sweetie - (((xxx)))

Bloody hell. I've just had to take his work phone off him. I'm going to kill him! The consultant told him not to work for fucks sake grrrrrrrrr

OP posts:

magimedi · 01/02/2016 22:24

Tell him from me that no one ever said, on their deathbed, that they had wished they'd spent more time at work.

Drop the bloody phone down the loo - accidentally on purpose & MAKE him stay home.

If he doesn't stay home & get better either the illness will kill him or his dear wife will.

And I am only being 50% joking.

He really needs to take a longer view of his work/life balance.

Would you like me to get on my broomstick & fly up??

Huge hugs, as ever................

Ok. I'm beginning to admit defeat now. Waiting for GP to phone as mr p seems to have taken a turn for the worse. All pumblettes asleep. Desperately trying not to wake them whilst trying to help mr p. Manning the fort single handed has been hard enough without this too.

Thank the Lord for mum.

You have far to much on your plate atm - am just hoping you get a bit of decent sleep tonight.

How is Mr. P?? Getting better I hope, the threats from e should be a real tonic Grin

Make some time for yourself, Pumble. Try to get out alone for a wee while tomorrow - even if you just drive round the corner & sit in the car & relish half an hour of peace.
