Happily starting a new thread as the other is almost full!

Perhaps useful to go over our stats:
Current weight: 10 stone 3lbs
Starting weight: 11 stone 4.5lbs
Weeks on Fast 800 Diet so far: 6

Well done on getting through Day one @Toffeenotcoffee, you've proved to yourself that it is doable.

Two weeks in and I've hit the half stone mark lost on the scales. The next losses will take me into another pound band, funny how important those different numbers on the scale become!

I've put on 2.5lbs since last week, which is fair given I've been on holiday! There is no way on earth I'd have weighed myself in the past after a holiday so I haven't a clue how it compares.

What I do know is that I turned down ice cream, crisps, dips, puddings, chocolates and all sorts, so the times when I veered a bit felt even more indulgent! Back on it today.

Week 11 day 1 for me today, two weeks to go! 13.5lbs lost in total.

Day 2: I've had Smoked salmon for breakfast 178 cals. I had it with a cup of tea and a 'splash of milk' like what MM says. I've been drinking an infusion of sliced root ginger and lemon juice in hot water this morning in place of tea and milk. Which was nice but then, I like ginger.

I've spent the last 2 weeks not dieting. Wedding anniversary, birthday. I guzzled a lot of chocolate ! Followed by 3 nights in a hotel on family business. So, that's all three meals per day eaten in a cafe of some description. For the record it was delicious !

I will weigh myself on Saturday and see how much my weight has changed in the two weeks since I weighed myself. The first week of Fast800 is damage limitation. Then, subsequent weeks will be to see how it goes.

Well done ToffeeNotCoffee! You're off to a great start. As Tinselandlights said to me at the start, the first four days are the hardest, after that you get into a routine.

It's the start of week 3 for me, and I've lost 6kg in total so far. If I lose 1 more kilo, I'll be overweight rather than obese, so that's a huge incentive to carry on.

I've cocked it up today. That'll teach me to cook mushrooms in 50g butter ! I also had spinach, asparagus and two eggs. Very nice but that didn't leave me any calories for tea.

I went for a 5km walk to knock off a few calories. So, I live and learn.

I went for my third personal training session last night and it was good - had the dhal and turmeric cauliflower from the book to give me some carbs so I could do all the exercise!

Oooooh, wee NSV for me!

DH remarked that I looked slimmer this morning, so i risked trying on a size 10 dress that I haven't worn in a year. And it fits! OK, it's a bit tight across the boobage, but the zip does up.

How are you getting on @Movealongmovealong? I'm having exactly the same problem. Lost 2kg in my first week and two inches off my waist, and now in my second week, weight loss has stalled completely. And am eating so much better than I was. I've actually taken the night off, and eaten completely off plan to give myself a break, and will get back on it tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed we break through the plateau soon, it's very frustrating!

I veered a bit off track today!

Firstly I made the chocolate beetroot brownies and they have given me the most noxious wind Blush anyone else made them?!

I had two of those (128 calories) and a little bag of roasted chickpeas at lunch. For breakfast I've fun out of the chocolate granola so I just had Jordan's granola which was a bit sugary I think.

Tomorrow will be better!

I am still sticking to it. I broke my 'no frequent weighing ' vow yesterday and had gone from 201.25 lbs to 199 (big psychological jump to get below 200) but this morning I'm back to 200 . 😖... I am extremely logical. I also get the science... low carb to the degree that mild ketosis burns fat for fuel and low calorie to create a deficit. It's this that frustrates me. How on Earth can I gain any weight whilst sticking religiously to the recipes. Weighing every single ingredient and ensuring I am making single portions.. never going above 850 cal a day.. whilst also being in constant ketosis.. ? Arghhhhh !!!

I'm not giving up though. It's become a bizarre challenge ...

@Movealongmovealong could you share what you are eating every day?

And a few more details - whether you're menopausal, how much water you drink, whether you're changing up your food within the plan?

For me, for instance, I know I can't have carby things every day as I am so sensitive to carbs that it stops me losing. Even things from the book. I love the chocolate granola but deep down I know eggs are a better breakfast for me.

Three weeks with no loss is counted as a maintain so it can be a slow process.

Tinsel and lights. so just to give you an -idea over the last 3 days. :

Breakfast. Advacado (40g) on low carb toast. (20g)

Lunch . Salad made with little gem lettuce , 4 salad tomatoes, 20g cucumber, 8 black olives. 25g Feta cheese, 20g raw red onion. 2 chopped spring onions . Half red pepper 25 g. 1/2 tbs olive oil. 1 tsp vinegar.

Dinner . Roasted vegetables and cod. Cod fillet 100g. One courgette. 2 tomatoes. Half red onion.

1 1/2 lites of water. One coffee with dash of ff milk.

Repeat breakfast and lunch .. but supper day 2 . Same roasted veg with lamb shoulder steak. (110g) and mint yogurt made with 50 g of full fat Greek yoghurt, mint and cucumber.

Same coffee but 2 litres of water.

Day 3 . 100g Greek yoghurt. 20g red berries mostly blueberries and raspberries.

Lunch . Tuna salad wrap with lettuce as the wrap from the book.

Dinner Smoked salmon omelette from the book. With some left over salad from day before.

Same coffee and nearly 1 1/2 lites of water.
Nothing else.

Keto sticks are showing moderate to large ketones. (Deep pinky purple)..

Today I had lost the 2ib I gained yesterday .. 🙄... any ideas gratefully received..

Struggling tonight with really wanting all the some chocolate ... it’s that time of the month and DS has developed a cough so we’re stuck in until we can get test results. And I ordered a dress that’s my new size but too tight. The opposite of a NSV.
