Ok, I know we technically haven't finished 2022 yet as there is still the Christmas Concert for some (my ds is not taking part due to his conservatoire concert) but NYMT have released details of their 2023 season & auditions here

Last year a young person we knew was homesick and there were other issues too that led them to drop out but pastoral were really good even though the person in question was older.

Well DD gone off to catch her flight with great excitement!! She is packed (all by herself) since last week 😂 Staying in London tonight and then off to Tonbridge in the morning! Hubby bemused by it all so hopefully he manages to get her there now 😂

@Montimom and @yodaforpresident hope your dd’s have a fantastic time. If it’s anything like last year I’m sure they will but it’s hard work as well! Have they been given any songs in advance? (Not spoilers just curious how different it might be from last year!)

@Alakazam8 yes they got a playlist on Spotify so hopefully nice and prepared. My older DD loved the concert last year so we are excited to see it all come together

Mine is already packed and MEGA excited for Saturday - leaving tomorrow night after an evening concert 😴 Staying half way down on the long journey and rest early Saturday.

We are currently packing and have indeed packed more than one towel. Snack bag is also in progress!

We’re just starting packing tonight-lots of washing to dry and sort! We’re leaving tomorrow late afternoon and stopping at my sister in law’s which isn’t quite on the way but much closer than here. Then we’ll carry on early Saturday. I’ve just done a snack shop since it appears my DS has decided this week would be a good time to have a growth spurt and is starving all the time 😬. Trust him! It’s so exciting though! Hope everyone has a brilliant time!

There was a lot of rain in the area yesterday and definitely some roads were flooded last night when we were driving home at around 11pm. Hopefully should all be open this morning.

OH is dropping DS. Hopefully the roads are all open now and they’ll get there in time.
