Ok, I know we technically haven't finished 2022 yet as there is still the Christmas Concert for some (my ds is not taking part due to his conservatoire concert) but NYMT have released details of their 2023 season & auditions here

Thank @Biscuitsneeded @Montimom Just psyching myself up for the flu that will strike the minute she wakes in the morning… followed by appendicitis, tonsillitis, bird flu and every allergic reaction possible before we finally get to Paddington and of course everything will be fine! 🤦🏻‍♀️. She’s looking forward to seeing some familiar faces!!!

Thank you @Triflefan . Applications are going well but it's a lot of self-taping and writing statements and travelling around for DS. Not much schoolwork is getting done! I think your DS is a year older. Is he on a theatre-related college course now?

I seem to remember they end in June ish, but I guess the early stages aren’t online now which may speed up the final rounds?

He is! Loving it and finding it exhausting in equal measure.

Can't see it being the weekend or even Monday after a full weekend of auditions this week too!

I'm telling myself Tuesday at the earliest :/

I was thinking it can’t be that long as they have another 2 groups this weekend to get through before the final auditions next weekend. Those results have to be out so quickly. I’m hoping they don’t do them all in one big group though, as that will bring back memories of last years lonnngg wait. (Grabs some biscuits)

We filled the weekend with loads of stuff so I, ahem I mean they, 😂 wouldn’t be waiting anxiously! So in my head now it’s next week and hopefully it won’t be too much longer.

Hi all,

DD says it went great today! She loved the dance (although they had no music…), acting was good, not so confident with singing though…

Anyway a fab experience and I hope those waiting get news soon 🤞

Dd really enjoyed the day. She loved seeing nymt friends and just spending the day doing what she loves the most. Joining the waiting room now! 😬😬😬

Thanks! I have one going today and now one going next Saturday as he has a dancing “job” today - we are really leaving it to the last minute!!!! Anyone have any idea what I can do in Dulwich village for the day?

Thank you @Biscuitsneeded - DD was at Peckham for BYMT yesterday too so a very busy weekend. She is not a dancer but says it went “okay”. @Coniger we’re planning on going to the Horniman as we’ve never been before.
