So, with BYMT auditions already underway and NYMT open for booking, it's surely time for a 2022 thread?? Who's in?

Submitted DD's NYMT actor self-tape and booked her audition today, eek! Need to also get her musician audition recorded this side of Christmas as we go on hols on 27th and she's back to school on 4/5th (PCR dependent 🙈)

Ha ha @Biscuitsneeded you are always all our font of knowledge but we’ve been in a funny time for 2 years so agree predictions are so hard!!

He’s basically in rehearsals and shows every day now till next sat night- playing Trunchball so needs to protect his voice with all the shouting lol. If no recall at least I wouldn’t be stressed about no voice by subway .

I really don't have any secret knowledge!! Just a few years of observing how these things work -although last year fried my brain!
I won't completely out DS just now by saying what show he's doing but as with your DS, it's going to take up all of next week so we're hoping the recall materials arrive soonish. We don't really read music so it's always a challenge, although in recent years the audio tracks have really helped. DS, of course, is chill about it all. I'm the one worrying!

@Biscuitsneeded they need to be chilled in this so glad he is. I hope he has a fab time in the week ahead. Like you say with the limited time to learn anything I’m hopeful they’ll be kind to them

Just to add we have a friend who zoomed this morning and they were told they would hear on Monday or at the very latest Tuesday morning. So those of you still waiting at least know there is a cut-off date in sight.

Yes it’s much better than last year when no one had any idea when we would hear. Thought it would be early in the week because of travel arrangements…

Has anyone had a chess recall?

Just heard that DD2 has recall for Kiss for Cinderella, she auditioned last Sunday. No news yet for DD1 and DD3 who auditioned last Saturday. 🤞🤞

Some Chess and Ragtime recalls have gone out from the first few zooms but not later than that as far as I know. I think the Cinderella team are just working more quickly (led by a woman, stands to reason!! ).
@Mcmumager maybe give it till Monday and chase if nothing by then, but I think it's less likely your DS has been forgotten and more likely they are still working through all the applications this time. I don't know how to do this but you can check to see if the video has been viewed...

He could only do chess or kiss for Cinderella as we are away for ragtime so looks unlikely but I’ll hang off till next week. Just glad I booked my holiday and didn’t wait

There's also the showcase, don't forget. Looks like rehearsals in Easter hold and performances in summer but before summer hols. Today's zoomers were told it would be part of the Fuse festival in Kingston on Thames at the Rose.

Been driving to the mountains and DC with no mobile data all day so physically couldntcheck emails!! Connect to a hotspot and has recalls for Chess and Ragtime - absolutely buzzing!! (Auditioned last sunday btw!) Fingers crossed for those still waiting!! :)

Ahhh thank you! Do you know if theres any higher chance of getting a place if been recalled for two shows? Just curious bc she really doesnt know what show she sees herself in, if any!?
