Congrats Falcon
Video sounds good, too.

LuckySalem · 14/02/2009 20:12

WALES!! hahaha

Good game though - very close.

shangrila · 14/02/2009 22:36

Pity that Martin Johnson, in all his years of playing rugby, is still to learn the art of being gracious.

shangrila · 14/02/2009 22:40

sorry, posted before i intended to then. Despite all that, we had quite an afternoon here in cardiff. Well done to ALL. as martin should have said...

LoveMyLapTop · 14/02/2009 22:43

Oh yes Wales!!
took the boys to soft play today and so many little ones had their welsh tops on even a little girl about 11 months old - really cute
We are all v. happy here!!!

dizzydixies · 14/02/2009 22:57

agree completely shangrila, there is an elegant way of loosing and he certainly hasn't mastered it at all

LuckySalem · 14/02/2009 22:58

LMLT - I'm going to Tesco's tomorrow to get DD a new Wales top as hers is too small for her now. I can't wait!!

dizzydixies · 14/02/2009 22:59

your tescos have them

the girls will be in their Ireland tops tomorrow, if I can find them

LuckySalem · 14/02/2009 23:01

Yeh they're having a sale too (which is why I waited)

dizzydixies · 14/02/2009 23:06

right, am off to tesco to demand to know why they've no scotland ones in!

well, in the morning

LuckySalem · 14/02/2009 23:07

Funnily enough there are no scotland ones here either OR english ones. Just the Wales ones.

TigersEnglandChick · 15/02/2009 07:45

Am hugely that your DC will wear rugby shirts.
DD (2.11) kicks off big time whenever I try and put her in her England shirt. She's never had it on! No idea why

LoveMyLapTop · 15/02/2009 11:19

LS - they have somem nice striped ones in Aldi for £4.99

LuckySalem · 15/02/2009 16:06

We picked up our Welsh rugby top today (and a hat with bells on )

I just popped onto say GO IRELAND!

dizzydixies · 15/02/2009 18:35

that'll do Ireland, that'll do

harleyd · 15/02/2009 18:41

yay ireland

TigersEnglandChick · 27/02/2009 20:40

Anyone watching Wales v France??

mileniwmffalcon · 27/02/2009 21:48

fair do's edge of seat stuff (sorry to my neighbours!)

my 20mo has a whole new set of phrases: "scary men", "jones kick", "rug people" (="rugby ball") and "run boys!" being the most repeatable of them

Madwelshwoman · 28/02/2009 10:36

God I dread to think what my neighbours thought of my screaming at the tv last night. Was so depressed at end of match I sank into a bottle of wine and stayed there !!!

However my youngest boy has now developed a strange obsession with Stephen Jones??

Still, good show lads, far too much pressure put on them methinks to bring home another Grand Slam and France are not to be underestimated.

TigersEnglandChick · 28/02/2009 17:19

Well, last night's game was brilliant! Tho I guess not so much so if you're Welsh ... I really thought they were going to steel it at the end but the French defense was brilliant!

Dizzy - looks like you'll have to manage with the Wooden spoons you've got for this year

Oh goodness ... only a few minutes ...

differentID · 28/02/2009 18:32

Was a good match- the French defense was like a brick wall.

I am so glad I'm not in the England dressing room right now! Don't think Johnno will be ranting but it'll certainly be uncomfortable!

It is becoming a joke ... 8 yellow cards in 4 games And they are often for the most stupid little things - what Danny Care was doing I don't know

Anyway. Well done to Ireland - still on for the Grand Slam

FWIW - I don't think the Irish will be overly chuffed either; they played against 14 men for 20 mins, they had soooo much more of the possession and territory, and they still only managed to win by 1 point ...

But, a win is a win.
