Piffle?!?!? you and I could fall out you know!

TigersEnglandChick · 06/02/2009 22:54

Tri-Nations is fantastic to watch ... but it helps when you're not at all partisan; you can just enjoy the rugby.

LOL @ the song milenimwffalcon

Tindal's out then ... you'd have thought they'd take it a bit easier in training the day before the tournament started

InTheScrum · 06/02/2009 23:09

Not heard that song before mileniwm. Not so sure of the sentiment, but Kelly Jones makes me weak at the knees!

Ronaldinhio · 06/02/2009 23:10

sorry constant rubbish spelling piffle
obv know the name as he was part of my joint obsession

I love the tri nations as well and the super 14s/curry cup matches
Ah bliss

TigersEnglandChick · 06/02/2009 23:21

Wel, ladies, I offer everyone good luck ... and I hope to see you here every now and then over the next few weeks ...

TigersEnglandChick · 07/02/2009 14:03

Only an hour to go

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 15:21

I think this year is going to be all about Ireland and my DH is going to be smug McSmug, AGAIN!

TigersEnglandChick · 07/02/2009 15:33

LOL - tho I'm enjoying the England game - I can't wait for Ireland v France later on

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 15:43

my DD1 just asked if we're English I mean FFS, I've lived in Scotland all my puff and married an Irish man

bless her, I think we've over complicated all the explination and should just stick to the Daddy is Green and Mummy is Blue for now

TigersEnglandChick · 07/02/2009 15:49

Ah, but what shade of blue??

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 15:54

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 16:53

not the most inspiring opening match

Desiderata · 07/02/2009 16:59

It may not have been inspiring, but we won it! That being the English, of course.

Desiderata · 07/02/2009 17:01

Ah dizzy, my order about whom we stuff was a wish-list. It wasn't intended to mirror the actual fixtures.

I hate losing the Calcutta Cup more than any other tournament. Fortunately, that doesn't happen too often

TigersEnglandChick · 07/02/2009 17:10

LOL Desi - that's put the Kybosh (sp?) on it

Not the best display and I hate to think what Wales will make of us next week ... unless things improve ... we'll see.

Anyway - cmon Ireland!!

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 17:12

you'll have been disappointed last year then Desi

Desiderata · 07/02/2009 17:27

Oh, I'm in denial about that one

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 17:28

we may get stuffed by all else, that much is true but at least we know which ones need to be won!!!

Desiderata · 07/02/2009 17:29

Too true! That's why the Calcutta Cup is the best of them!

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 07/02/2009 17:30

AND our last match of the competition this year - full day of rugby!!!

Tn0g · 07/02/2009 17:31

Look.

Everyone knows Ireland will beat the shorts [phwoar] off every other team.

< bangs bodhran loudly >

Desiderata · 07/02/2009 17:33

Aye, and much drink will be taken, no doubt

The Ireland V France game is looking good.

Desiderata · 07/02/2009 17:34

I must admit, Tnog, we seem to be fielding the ugliest side in the 6-nations this year.

Shame Juicy Lewsey isn't playing anymore!
