All welcome

It was starting to feel like spring today. 5.4 km walk plus 4km on the rower because I was sat at my desk too long earlier on.

Wanted to test out the endurance legs as I have a 15km race on the 29th! It won't be as hilly as what I did today so I hope that means I'll be ok.

I've done another 9 miles since Wednesday. Backing off now to get ready for a race :)

I'm starting to get a bit worried about my prep for an ultra this summer in relation to CV-19. Obviously in the grand scheme of things it's not important, but walking and running are how I keep myself mentally happy and healthy.

ErrolTheDragon · 08/03/2020 19:06

I suppose events may be cancelled, and if we catch CV-19 who knows if we'll get mild or more... but at least running, walking and cycling can be done outside and without loads of other people close by.

Spring cleaning and a bit of gardening dominated this weekend so just 3km on the rower today.

45.51 miles of walking done this week! Perk of a toddler off nursery and me off work, we've been able to get out on some really long walks!

312.7/1687.3

Still need to average 40 miles a week to hit that target of 2000 miles!

Fullyhuman · 10/03/2020 11:41

Walked 40 miles since my last update:

The Social Distancing of the Long (or short/medium) Distance Runner?

Lovely day here today, 8.4 km/389.1

Inniu · 13/03/2020 18:04

I’m in Ireland where the schools are closed and students are being asked not to meet in groups. I thought it would not be a good example to meet a group myself.
Hence the solo run

thenewaveragebear1983 · 15/03/2020 11:10

5.5 km today, every step was miserable in the pouring rain.

170.1/829.9km (running)

Managed a great 10km run this week in a (huge) PB of 01:02:30, I'm beyond delighted!

amysaurus87 · 16/03/2020 07:39

29.83 miles of walking done this week. Started off really well and then got sent home from work due to my cough on Tuesday.

Spoke to 111 and PHE who assured me on Tuesdys no need to self isolate yet. Then bam found out Friday that I need to self isolate for a week...which means no leaving the house until the end of this week! Wouldn't be so bad if i didn't have to isolate with my LB who very much does not like being kept inside!
