I've just started the squat challenge tonight. The aim is in 30 days to get you doing 250 squats. Anyone else up for it? I did the first 50 today, didn't realise it would be so hard, but then, I am unfit Grin

Day 1 - 50 squats
Day 2 - 55 squats
Day 3- 60 squats
Day 4 - Rest
Day 5 - 70 squats
Day 6 - 75 squats
Day 7 - 80 squats
Day 8 - Rest
Day 9- 100 squats
Day 10 - 105 squats
Day 11 - 110 squats
Day 12 - Rest
Day 13 - 130 squats
Day 14 - 135 squats
Day 15 - 140 squats
Day 16 - Rest
Day 17 - 150 squats
Day 18 - 155 squats
Day 19 - 160 squats
Day 20 - Rest
Day 21 - 180 squats
Day 22 - 185 squats
Day 23 - 190 squats
Day 24 - Rest
Day 25 - 220 squats
Day 26 - 225 squats
Day 27 - 230 squats
Day 28 - Rest
Day 29 - 240 squats
Day 30 - 250 squats

I'm on a rest day today. After 30 crunches, 110 squats, and a 20 min run, I deserve it!

Morning squatters. 135 completed today. I'm actually finding it really hard. I'm quite tempted to get up to 150 and stop there.

I'm going to start this tomorrow .

I jog at the moment and am doing the 150 tricep dip challenge but only on day 4.Smile

Has anyone lost weight or noticed that your legs look slimmer or is it to early?

I've lost a stone, but I didn't weigh myself in the 8 months since ds was born, so not sure if its the running or squats that has done it Grin

Well done! I'm due 50 crunches, then 155 squats. I cried off from my run last night, so must do that as well Smile

Got in from a 25 minute non stop run (a first for me) then remembered I still need to do squattage, and almost cried. All done now!

I'm hopeless at remembering to do stuff like this, but tonight I went to BodyPump and did many, many squats, with a barbell on my shoulders! Also lunges, dips etc. I think I may be in agony tomorrow. I actually want to look pumped up, with big biceps and everything.

I have only ever been to Body Pump once.Hmm I nearly fell down the stairs on the way out because my legs were like jelly.

I ached for 5 days and never went back.

160 squats!!! And I managed to get to 100 without too much trouble, so its obviously doing something Grin . Well done everyone!

74 dips and 60 squats today as well as other exercises.

Won't be running today so not really any cardio but I will be cleaning for 2 hours so I'll definitely sweat!

Marking my place. It's the 1st June so I have the month to get my arse into better shape. Might do something with my abs as well as they are rather wobbly post 3 huge babies!

Welcome Sybil I've woken up this morning, and my back is in agony (not squat related, I should add!). I'm not sure whether to power through, or just rest today. I'll see if it eases off later Sad

I like this idea. Have done the Shred before now and I'm not unfit but struggle to fit exercise in sometimes. So this is v doable.

Did 1st 50 today - no trouble until about 35, last 5 were quite hard. 50 situps as well, will swim in a bit as dd2 has swimming lesson so aiming for 30 lengths during her half hour.

Just booked our holiday to California in 8 weeks and want to be 10lbs down by then so this will help.
