Ange amazingly mine grew to F cup while breastfeeding and I HATED them. I eclipsed the sun every time I whacked them out. Hmm I'd never have a boob job as big jugs don't suit me.

rhetorician · 15/11/2011 21:24

32f! impressive! I have a range of elderly, greying sportbras - I am a 36B (tending to C) and have a couple of shock absorbers, some M+S ones and they mostly work ok. I have a couple of Adidas ones that I really like, but they don't make these anymore :( my fave is the poncy red shockabsorber. But I don't seem to have any normal bras any more...

I'd just like to say, if I run 10.3 km tomorrow (between finishing my class at 2 and lecturing at 6.30, I will have run 2000km in 2011. CAN I SHOUT? 2000km in 2011 - a full 6 weeks short of the full year...

going to do it in miles next year....

I could also bore on about low HR - I can now run about an 11 min/m at

sfxmum · 15/11/2011 21:24

I am with you on that one ange no matter what weight I am the norkage makes it hard to dress properly wavering perilously between matronly and tarty
hate hate hate it

monkeyLFDTwench · 15/11/2011 21:24

sticky I'm a 36E and I use the Shock Absorber Run bra - the one with the extra clip across the shoulders. I used to use an Enell but found it just too restrictive.

Got out for my (short) run and Shred, now watching Death in Paradise which DH calls Doc Marten Abroad!

Wheelybug · 15/11/2011 21:26

Ooh boobs tonight.... At least it's vaguely running related! Shock absorber all the way here - was a 34G when I started back after dd2 and was still bf - ing and I - ahem - double bagged. Now much more modest but still shock absorber.

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 21:29

I'm using the 10% code for the M&S bra, and if that doesn't do the job I'll have to move on to shock absorber. They are a bit pricey tho, it'd be nice if I could save £15!

Ange well done keeping up the good work on the treadmill. Definitely wouldn't be running up and down the river in the dark. It's lovely in the summer though, isn't it?

peachLFDTsmuggler · 15/11/2011 21:29

2000k this year is awesome Rhet. You're gonna do it in miles next year?!? Flipping hell!

AngeChica · 15/11/2011 21:30

even with double bras on i passed 3 teenage lasses in the park the other week and one of them muttered "boing boing boing" ... Angry But down to 34 DD which is great as I have a drawer full of nice 5 year old 34C bras awaiting, instead of manky bras of shame. Residual belly from 11lb baby also disappearing nicely. That excuse was wearing very thin.

how many shoes did you wear out rhet!

orangeLFDThead · 15/11/2011 21:31

You lot are mad, I have been chuckling away catching up. Dh thinks I have gone mad
Hope you ok Moshi and not too stressed. No will here either, nothing to leave.
Bonkers Grin just seen the thread. They all just ignore you don't they?
monkey we have just ordered 3ds's for the boys. We got zelda with them as they both wanted that game. Have to get two of the same game otherwise it will be world war three. Thought they could trade in they old ds's in exchange for the games they want. They also like all the lego games- star wars, pirates, Indiana Jones
peach pineapple worked for me with ds2. I ate a whole one and it was a long long time before I before I could even look at a pineapple without feeling sick but it worked.
Well done on the hills hat
Hope you managed to get out Monkey. I love Phineas and Ferb.
Sticky can I have a cosmopolitan too, hope dh got you some fanny. Have you tried enell sticky Im 34DD too and I don't bounce with enell. They not cheap but are very good.

Wheelybug · 15/11/2011 21:31

Wow rhet ! That's amazing mileage !! Well done

monkeyLFDTwench · 15/11/2011 21:31

I'm not even going to tell you what I went up to when pregnant and breastfeeding! But I definitely needed an over the shoulder boulder holder!

I would happily have a reduction from my current E cup, I always look like Hattie Jacques matronly no matter what I wear. The mono-boob look is so NOT trendy Sad.

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 21:32

rhet I feel we should be getting the ticker tape out and all cheering round you - not sure how to achieve that virtually - but bloody well done, that's such an achievement!

monkey note the above for our awards ceremony (you're MC, it seems. Monkey MC has a ring to it)

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 21:32

I double bagged when I restarted the gym after DD3 AND wore Spanx under my leggings Hmm. Beat that bitches!

rhet bloody well done you little running leprechaun you. I have no idea of distance I've done this year as lost all my Runmeter data.

peachLFDTsmuggler · 15/11/2011 21:32

sticky, the shock absorber is expensive but you can wear them and wear them and wash the fu*k out of them and they're still great.

I must be the only person whose tits didn't go up in size while bf Hmm

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 21:33

orange here you go my lovely Wine. I did try the Enell (I had high hopes with the front fastening) - but my skin started reacting to it almost immediately. I have extremely stupid skin.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 21:36

peach count yourself lucky! Not one of us seem happy do we?! Although I do remember my milk coming in after having DD1 and doing the Pammie Baywatch run across the living room, much to DH's delight. I nearly knocked the plasma off the wall...

orangeLFDThead · 15/11/2011 21:36

Planning on doing 8 miles tomorrow if boys back at school they should be. Ds1 said tonight he might not be well enough (he is, just trying it on) so I said well its either school or 8 mile run with me tomorrow. He decided school. Im a bit nervous about doing 8 miles and think they will be lots of LFDT.

AngeChica · 15/11/2011 21:37

yes exactly sfx i have a boyish figure with no butt so it looks like I am wearing those Blackadder comedy breasts half the time.

I was at the quayside meeting some relatives for a meal last night sticky (very decadent for a school night) and there were loads of people running along the glamorous bit all evening. A good run is to get dropped at Wylam and run back to the Baltic. 10 miles each way.

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 21:40

Grin monkey I sent my Mum and Dad out to get me something huge after I'd had DD1 and turned into Katie Price, my Dad helpfully pointed out that I could just use the carrier bags. Ha ha bloody ha.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 21:42

Anyone notice that Pan and Cest are nowhere to be seen?! Grin.

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 21:42

orange you will be fine, think of us all urging you on! Just relax and enjoy it.

ooh ange where did you go? I used to work opposite the Baltic, so done lots of runs up and down and round about there.

rhetorician · 15/11/2011 21:43

many of those bras would also have a definite contraceptive effect, no? I'm worried about the 'permanent damage' that might be inflicted by unrestrained norks (putting your eye out?) as claimed by the shock absorber people...

angechica quite a few - I have a burgeoning collection of running shoes that are knackered for running, but ok for other things...never know what to do with them. I usually have 2 pairs on the go at any one time.

I haven't actually run that final 6 and a bit miles yet...

Vujon on Queen St. Posh curry!

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 21:50

ah nice! A very superior curry restaurant. Yum yum!

stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 22:04

just pondering my speeding up session tomorrow. Do you think its better to be faster for shorter or less fast for longer? Last week I did 5 miles, 1 mile warm up, 1 mile fast, 1 mile easy, 1 mile fast, 1 mile home easy.

Would I be better off doing shorter more intensive bursts?
