After seeing millions (billions?) of our taxpayers money thrown away by this govt on Covid related fraud. Now they’re about to throw away millions more on this despicable scheme. I’m wondering if we could sue for mismanagement of our money??

Nothing surprises me anymore, that's how low they have sunk. We are boiled frogs, things get worse slowly enough that people don't notice, that and our media (we are unlucky enough to have the Daily Mail etc) isn't holding politicians to account.

But this is the problem with a populist government & FPTP, no leadership, just follow what "we" the voters want.

BJ just has to appeal to around 40% of the electorate and he is back in again :(

I won't buy Dyson again because of Brexit, Russia will be another reason. I have one, it is horrible to use but refuses to die. Pieces have fallen off, I thought it was about to pop off a couple of years, and still it just keeps going.

I feel the same about Dyson. Mine is coming up 15 years old and still going strong mainly because I am a sloven and don't vacuum often enough but when it dies, I will not have another.

We're the same. Dh does all most of the vacuuming (long story to do with him not wanting me to get a cleaner in ) but he's agreed that when it dies, we're not replacing it with another Dyson.
