If you really existed you would know that its too late to start such a group

MysteryTripAgain · 14/02/2020 14:55

@LQ

Not according to Malylis. Objectors are not obliged to remain silent.

Article 49 exists to provide a mechanism for a member that has left to rejoin

wildcherries · 14/02/2020 15:58

VBP on Facebook seized this opportunity well.

You got what you voted for..............
PortiaCastis · 14/02/2020 16:16

Problem I have with our Col and his ilk is that they've also voted away my freedom of movement and that of my dd!

cologne4711 · 14/02/2020 16:37

Almost as funny as the Brexit party MEP who tweeted about who was going to represent the UK's interests on the EU parliament fisheries committee during the transition. You can imagine some of the responses...

SpindleBerry · 14/02/2020 16:38

But we are all leavers now

“It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words.”

MysteryTripAgain · 14/02/2020 17:17

Just passed through Schiphol. The self service passport scanner still accepts UK passport.

ListeningQuietly · 14/02/2020 17:18

Bye then.

TheGreatWave · 14/02/2020 18:09

"You won, we lost. Get over it." Grin

The Independent reports that it was due to staff training though.

Almost as funny as the Brexit party MEP who tweeted about who was going to represent the UK's interests on the EU parliament fisheries committee during the transition.

Just googled this - her tweet must have been taken out of context as she also said;

"Under Boris Johnson’s Withdrawal Agreement the British fishing industry will have to endure an 11 month period where the EU has total unchecked control of our waters."

"As a litmus test of a true Brexit the fishing industry should never have become a bargaining chip and should have always been a separate issue."

"I am sure many people will be appalled by the thought of the EU controlling our fisheries even for a short time."

"I have always been clear in my opposition to both the May and Johnson versions of the Withdrawal Agreement and advocated for a clean break Brexit."

Brexit Party MEPs don't necessarily agree with the Conservatives.

AuldAlliance · 14/02/2020 20:56

Phew.

GoldenMarigolds · 14/02/2020 21:00

The time may come where the non EU Q might be quicker than the EU Q!

Joking and provoking maybe. But could you see that happening?

I dunno.

Bearbehind · 14/02/2020 21:00

You can almost always predict people's Brexit vote by their stance on climate change and cyclists

There are exceptions

Greta is a hypocritical puppet and cyclists are generally entitled twats.

Still doesn’t make Brexit a good idea

Not hilarious at all

A side reflection on how poor our options were

Bearbehind · 14/02/2020 21:32

And I wasn’t ‘the’ person who voted for Johnson

There were rather a lot of us

Again, because of the lack of options

Bearbehind · 14/02/2020 21:33

Sad reflection not side reflection

InsiderMole · 14/02/2020 21:33

Or how poor some people's judgement is

Bearbehind · 14/02/2020 21:35

Or how poor some people's judgement is

Indeed!

Some people thought JC would do the work of the original JC

That didn’t end well did it

InsiderMole · 14/02/2020 21:46

Some people thought JC would do the work of the original JC

I don't anyone who thought that. I know that pp voted with a bit of hope in their hearts for a better country, a better life. Unfortunately they were defeated by the powers of negativity and stupidity

Bearbehind · 14/02/2020 21:51

I know that pp voted with a bit of hope in their hearts for a better country, a better life

Sadly their ‘hope’ was misguided as they weren’t actually offered a realistic chance of that

GoldenMarigolds · 14/02/2020 22:52

Dominic Cummings is the de facto PM. But Johnson is happy to hand over the difficult tasks to Cummings and DC now the PM really.

Anyway, not much we can do about it now. Trump clones.

DGRossetti · 15/02/2020 07:41

I wonder what people like Colin will say when the duty limits change ?

GhostofFrankGrimes · 15/02/2020 08:13

"I voted Tory because lack of options" isn't going to age well. Just as " I voted brexit for freedom" isn't aging well.

Jason118 · 15/02/2020 08:32

I call them 'Brexit enablers'. If 5 years of a labour government was too difficult to comprehend rather than a lifetime of Brexit, then it just shows how selfish some people are. Unless of course they actually wanted Brexit.
