Well i strongly doubt that there is any such legislation in the pipeline, or ever will be, but i can certainly believe that racists would like to think it’s true. And would like to spread their malicious lies about it too.

The issue is not whether the contents are true. It is that there are too many bigots out there who think spouting this shite and intimidating foreigners is acceptable.

The only slight surprise is that it's Norwich. Norwich is pro-Remain and slightly more tolerant than the rest of Norfolk - which is pretty well riddled with casual racism, xenophobia and intolerance.

Does that not make you even slightly question an alternative motive? Not everything is black and white but as Greenish says it’s certainly had the desired effect.

Norwich didn't vote unanimously for Remain. 29,040 people voted for Leave - that's 43.8% of the city's population. There's every chance that one or more of those 29,040 holds these views.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. DS2s girlfriend was out running when her mum called. Usually she would have left it and called back when she got home, but as her grandad was very poorly, she stopped and answered.
