Seen it online but not sure if it is true

Anyone seen this? Is it true?
OP posts:
BoneAppleTeaa · 01/02/2020 15:23

What do you mean is it true?

pinkyredrose · 01/02/2020 15:23

How do mean is it true? I guess it's true that some arsehole put it there.

Singlenotsingle · 01/02/2020 15:24

Hadn't seen it before, and I doubt it's legal as it's inherently racist.

StarbucksSmarterSister · 01/02/2020 15:25

Why wouldn't it be true? Plenty of racists in this country and some of them are stupid enough to do this.

reginafelangee · 01/02/2020 15:27

No it's utter bollocks

AuldAlliance · 01/02/2020 15:27

"the the Queens English"

Says it all really...

Absolutepowercorrupts · 01/02/2020 15:27

How many more threads will be started to tell users of Mumsnet that leaving the European Union was a bad idea.
Posters are getting quite creative.

Nogodsnomasters · 01/02/2020 15:29

Some racist twat who most likely voted leave has actually gone to the hassle of printing these and putting them up inside a block of council flats. Dickheads.

codenameduchess · 01/02/2020 15:29

By is it true do you mean will all immigrants be 'sent packing' as the moronic EDL types seem intent on? No

Or is it true that there are people racist and evil enough to print and put up something like this? Then yes, unfortunately, they are probably the same people sharing 'ban the burka' bs

CoffeeCoinneseur · 01/02/2020 15:30

What do you mean is it true?

Someone has obviously stuck that sign on a door, and someone has taken a picture of it, possibly the same person.

Could be exactly as it appears. It could have been set up to put on social media to somehow 'prove' that everyone who voted for brexit is a knuckle dragging racist.

Itchyhead2020 · 01/02/2020 15:30

I meant true as in real

OP posts:
Timetastic · 01/02/2020 15:30

Is it true that some dick head has typed it and printed it off - yes.
Confused

iklboo · 01/02/2020 15:30

There are so many grammatical errors in that Alanis Morrisette should write Ironic 2.

Voxx · 01/02/2020 15:33

Is it true that some twat wrote it, printed it and stuck it on a door? And that someone photographed it? Eh yeah. Seems so.

DeDoRonRon · 01/02/2020 15:34

I understand that it is genuine, yes.

and many other examples. Brexit has "unleashed" the racists.

Echobelly · 01/02/2020 15:35

Apparently it was sent by private message to the poster who later shared it with permission, so if so, it wasn't set up and photographed to get a shock response.

Sadly too many people, given the signals the gov is sending, think Brexit means every foreigner, European or otherwise, is going to get thrown out because we 'weren't allow to' beforehand.

The ironic thing is I reckon that to offset the drop of Euro immigrants and to fill in all the jobs that need doing, the UK is going to have to cut more immigration deals with Africa, India and China and all the xenophobes will be hurrumphing that 'at least the immigrants used to be white'. Grin

AmelieTaylor · 01/02/2020 15:38

If you think that’s real you need serious help

Stop fucking stirring

Stop fucking stirring

This

acatcalledjohn · 01/02/2020 15:54

I'm not so sure this is fake. A European girl coming back from her home country got accosted by thugs celebrating Brexit last night. She was singled out and told:

“like this little twat over here, yeah you, you can pretend not to hear me but you know I’m talking about you, people like you coming here with their suitcases, taking OUR jobs and OUR houses and OUR food.”

She was surrounded by a bunch of them too.

Racist, entitled little pricks who deserve very little in life if they think that behaviour is acceptable.

It is happening in the real world.

ItWillBeBetterinAugust · 01/02/2020 15:55

The spelling and grammar is better than you'd expect of someone expressing those sentiments. I do not mean Brexit voters generally btw. I mean simply that people who insist that "foreigners" be forced to speak English at all times, including in private conversations with their own family, are usually monolingual British people who don't speak or write their own language very well...

DeDoRonRon · 01/02/2020 15:57

It happened in Norwich and I understand has been reported to police and council.

It is, indeed, happening in the real world.

acatcalledjohn · 01/02/2020 15:58

To say "stop fucking stirring" is naive at best, and wilfully ignorant at worst.

ItWillBeBetterinAugust · 01/02/2020 15:58

iklboo not nearly as many as I'd expect if it were genuine.
