Season's Greetings All - Champagne and Canapes please. For any of those with excess and unwanted Champagne, I can help you out there whenever you might need me.
I've brought my own Twiglets to the Party as I'm delighted to report that, whilst many claims have previously been made, and not 'cut it', Twiglets have gone back to their origins - I've finally purchased a pack of Twiglets 'Originals' that are the nearest (dammit) of the ones that came in the box. This may, or may not be, related to Brexit. As long as I can get some more.........
Recently I've found that I'm too lazy to provide links to my assertions, words, rememoires, etc - that's only because I used to (since Ref) meticulously research things (because that's what I do) and post links - but on deaf ears, the sounds of their own posts resonating too loudly, so I stopped.
Then I found the bonhomie of The Arms, where all are welcome and humour, debate and civility prevails.
As well as accommodating of the unlimited differences between us. Anyway, it is true that one of the reasons I voted to Leave was because of the negative impacts on the low-paid UK worker.
Amongst all the noise created the past 3 years about the provable postive economic benefits of EU FOM, the negative impacts on the low-paid were little heard, despite being in the same reports as those stating the positive effects.
My own conclusion is that's why the Base Labour Voters left. Anyways, my Xmas present is the basic link below, which you can now research at your own leisure:

Throws log on fire - glugs Champagne, orders more, looks at H knowingly.
