What shocks me is how many people turned a blind eye as long as it was only non-EU affected. Windrush predates the EU ref. It only became an issue people were prepared to speak up about afterwards.

Janet Daley pointed out on one of the Sunday programmes that UK growth is proceeding at 1.5% - not the greatest but against the global backdrop, really quite healthy - while the Eurozone's is struggling at less than 0.5%. Her view is that economic reality is beginning to bite the EU in the bum and they need to sell us their goods even to sustain that weak growth.
