Amen to this. My 3 yr old daughter was napping under my desk for the first year. We worked around the clock for the first 5 years. After that, more normal (ish) hours (but also weekends), although we do still take customer calls 24 hours a day on divert. My husband was back to work less than 48 hrs after I gave birth to my DS and we rarely ever get holiday time.

Nothing put mothers and babies at more risk than Blair.

Babies died and mothers did. I've written before about wards closing and women in labour turned away with no where to go.

I know you said tory Baby killer in jest but my experience and fear gave me 5 years of flash backs and I had to request an elc second time because I couldn't face the risk of being turned away at the most vulnerable time of my life and my babies life.

Although now it’s going down the shitter maybe we will have more precious time. No real income, but time and potentially state benefits. #Winning.

We need small business owners we need to them, we need more of them, we need to support them as much as possible.

Yolo can't speak for anyone else but my understanding is that BJ has agreed a Deal (1st stage) which looks a good start to me. It's the Deal we have, quite probably it doesn't suit everybody, but it's a start; which after 3+ years is the best we have 'accomplished' so far.

Obvs, loads of other negs, deals, sub deals, subterfuge and too much social media will continue on, but for now, it will do. If you wanted and could have changed things - you would have done it by now; maybe you like insecurity and uncertaintity - different strokes for different folks.

That's just me. Completely decided. Do your own thing too.

And the only way to survive as anyone with marginal income would be to paint oneself in their colours... Become that group they want to support.

Richer families with plenty of savings etc have the luxery of moving and protecting assets, and sitting it out.

We are now just above breadline for the first time in over a decade we can breathe... Under corbyn... I see us loosing jobs and plummeting into grimness again.. Just as we are crawling out of the abyis (sp)

They're not even as accomplished as that, Epic! I must admit, I did offer genuine sympathy at first but soon realised that was the desired response.

I've met too many professional chancers in my life not to spot them at all.

The big poll tonight is actually a slight improvement on the last big one. There are still too many variables but I've just been reading Janet Daley (she was one of the very few political commentators to call the 2015 and 2017 elections and the referendum right). She says "it is impossible to overestimate the degree of contempt and loathing the working class have for Corbyn" and thinks this is a Maggie 2.0 moment in terms of working class breakthrough, especially in the North and Midlands.

We'll soon know.

Sorry about the nuts - I'm a messy bugger. Am too intrigued by 'wetwork' - can only think of subterranean mines. But then I'm aghast at anything subterranean, as long as I'm in a boat, I'm staying there.
