I agree parker, fully expected, but irritating nonetheless.

DustyDiamond · 28/10/2019 19:07

And so we hurry up & wait for another day

🙄🙄🙄

God I detest this Parliament!!!

bellinisurge · 28/10/2019 19:08

The WankyTwat PM has dicked Parliament about with the prorogation fiasco that they will do what it takes to avoid him getting his way. Like the class gobshite who pisses too many people off too many times.

DustyDiamond · 28/10/2019 19:13

SNP & Lib Dem have broken ranks is all

They don't want to waste any more time debating the WAB.

Their last chance to stop Brexit or at least get a 2nd ref is to go for GE before WAB is passed.

Very high stakes now

Not been for a week as ill, but still no agreement.
Brexit must be cat, because after being killed in so many different way, the bugger still sits there purring .

“The WankyTwat PM has dicked Parliament about with the prorogation fiasco”

This, I cannot disagree with you on. The prorogation subterfuge made me do a very noisy eye roll. Not least of which because I knew that it would be a proverbial ‘beaty stick’ forever more and created horrible optics. It was a dick move, I’m not going to wrap it up in a shiny bow and pretend otherwise.

I do wish Jezza wouldn’t call it illegal though. It was technically unlawful, not illegal. Semantics I know, but words matter when couching something to the public, as if an existing law was broken, when no prior law existed in that context until the supreme court effectively created it.

Epicwaffle · 28/10/2019 19:19

Hi @mummmy2017, sorry to hear you have been Ill! Welcome back and I hope you feel better. Flowers

If your a sore throat and feel dizzy and out of it, then the Brexit flu Bug got you.
And it only lasts 48 hour.

Then you get Groundhog Day

mummmy2017 · 28/10/2019 19:29

Wonder if new ball....oops sorry new speaker will change things.

DustyDiamond · 28/10/2019 19:30

At least there'll be a lot less showboating than we've had with him

He's such a jumped up little prick

Epicwaffle · 28/10/2019 19:32

I cant wait to see the end of bercows smug little face. He really is toxic in the chair. I’m hoping to get the current deputy speaker, the woman? Can’t remember her name?

Epicwaffle · 28/10/2019 19:33

Please not harriet harman, that’s a whole other dark topic!

DustyDiamond · 28/10/2019 19:35

I know!

She's got a shady past with PIE

mummmy2017 · 28/10/2019 19:37

Won't he hate not being in charge. He will become a bynote just like DC, and TM
Thinking of buying a cat.
So I can stand at the door banging a tin of food calling the word out loud each night.

DustyDiamond · 28/10/2019 19:38

This from twitter is prescient I think:

Most people don’t follow the ins-and-outs of Westminster shenanigans.

They see headlines, and today they’ll see that yet again the PM has tried to hold an election, but other parties have decided the public can’t have one.

Every time they reject a GE, they strengthen Boris.
