Quite coincidentally I too have been in negotiations today regarding the pubs licence and it's good news here as well, a deal has been agreed!!

There were no amendments or legal objections put forward so a shiny new licence has been issued and normal service can be resumed Smile

Same rules apply.

Now let's hope Saturday's proceedings can go ahead without the usual dicking around and that what has been nigh on impossible during the last 3 years, a majority, can be achieved otherwise I feel we are off to hell in a handcart!

First drink is on the house 🍻🍷🍻🍷Cheers

Another interesting week coming up. I wonder what Rogue Parliament rabbit is going to be pulled from the hat this week? SmileBrew.

So if it turns out to be “No Deal” on October 31st, what will happen on November 1st?

howabout · 21/10/2019 09:35

Went to bed with a massive migraine last night and missed all the fun. Sad

I have a question on boiler suits. How do I go for a pee in extremis?

Also belts and me don't agree and my bra is so itchy I may finally get round to burning it in the street as my first act of protest - the travails of middle age.

Sometimes think MPs are behaving so abominably to give me a reasonable excuse to get all ranty. DH has probably paid them all to divert the flack. Star

bellinisurge · 21/10/2019 09:38

You need a SheWee @howabout

Bearbehind · 21/10/2019 09:41

You need a SheWee

I’d love to know how you think that would work in a boiler suit 😂

bellinisurge · 21/10/2019 09:43

Worked with mine when I was clearing out brambles. @Bearbehind .

howabout · 21/10/2019 09:44

So if it turns out to be “No Deal” on October 31st, what will happen on November 1st?

Absolutely nothing different, but you're getting ahead of yourself.

time4 in answer to your earlier question. I don't think Boris will call a VoNC in himself, but if he loses the CU amendment today he may call for a FTPA 2/3 maj for a GE. Not sure what the mechanics of pulling the WAB would be?

Agree SNP will call VoNC but only to embarrass LibDems and Labour. Boris calling FTPA vote would neuter that somewhat so Labour and LibDems would be wise to take Boris up on the offer if he does.

Worst case possible for Labour and LibDems and Tories is CU amendment passes on DUP votes and PV amendment fails.

howabout · 21/10/2019 09:45

I'll add toilet roll to my cross body stash. Grin

howabout · 21/10/2019 09:46

Forgot to say hi Bear Brew. Not seen you around lately. Where do you stand on the Deal?

Bearbehind · 21/10/2019 09:49

Hello how. I pop up every now and then but it’s generally soul destroying.

I think the ‘deal’ is shite and more can kicking which will likely end up in no deal later on

All this arguing and amendments to prevent things happening / force things to happen is destroying politics

Who knows where it will end

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 09:52

Hi 🐻!! Brew

I was wondering where you were too!

Bearbehind · 21/10/2019 09:55

Hi dusty - I do keep up with the threads but often CBA to post lately - it’s all been said before and it’s all such a mess I don’t see how there can be a positive outcome, whatever side of the fence you are on

Bearbehind · 21/10/2019 09:57

I’m still fascinated about how you get a SheWee inside a boiler suit though! It must be dependent on the body size to boiler suit size ratio and I don’t think they make boiler suits big enough for me!

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 09:57

Howabout - re DUP & CU

Just seen this on twitter:

(Tamara Cohen)

DUP’s JimShannonMP tells KayBurley: “we are clear where we stand on the customs union, it’s something we cannot support”

howabout · 21/10/2019 09:58

Bear Yep
Now I want my own emoji.

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 10:01

How does a she-wee work?

If it's a use when you need it contraption then it can just be slotted in through the front opening I think?!

I'm assuming boiler suits are like what I used to wear at work (we called them denims or coveralls) - if so, they Velcro all the way down the front to the crutch so you could easily ram a wee-ing aid in 😂

howabout · 21/10/2019 10:01

Bear My car mechanic is 20 stone and over 6 foot and wears a roomy boiler suit. I was gifted mine by a ship's engineer - have to roll the sleeves and bottoms up. It's already dyed Brexit Party blue though. Foresight from 30 years ago. Star

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 10:01

I'm off to google she wees now...

Bearbehind · 21/10/2019 10:02

But aren’t you dressed underneath?

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 10:03

Have googled!

You couldn't walk about with it wedged on all the time 😂

Brexit Arms pop up pops up again!
Bearbehind · 21/10/2019 10:04

I’m clearly overthinking this! 😂

howabout · 21/10/2019 10:04

Good news from the DUP Dusty. They may yet emerge as the only politicians sticking to their word. Shock
