Quite coincidentally I too have been in negotiations today regarding the pubs licence and it's good news here as well, a deal has been agreed!!

There were no amendments or legal objections put forward so a shiny new licence has been issued and normal service can be resumed Smile

Same rules apply.

Now let's hope Saturday's proceedings can go ahead without the usual dicking around and that what has been nigh on impossible during the last 3 years, a majority, can be achieved otherwise I feel we are off to hell in a handcart!

First drink is on the house 🍻🍷🍻🍷Cheers

Camouflage in the market square or high street, I suppose it could work, can I recommend a balaclava ( big ears here so hat of choice, funny looks at weddings, but better than looking like the BFG in photos )and a tiny touch of applique, iron on patches would be acceptable at a push. The only thing restricting your 'riot look' is your imagination Wink

DustyDiamond · 20/10/2019 22:22

Multi Terrain Pattern works in all scenarios Frumpety - the clue is in the name Smile

Every days a school day Dusty Grin

If you are serious about bringing the fight to the 'enemy' can I suggest a couple of nice additions , how about a nice comfy Breton top ( stop all that webbing rubbing ), a jaunty floral purse, and a lovely jute reusable bag, I think you can get one designed for wine which would double up nicely for the Molotov's ? I can't help feeling the MTP ( hark at me ) will stand out somewhat in front of the White Company window, but I will defer to your infinite knowledge on this subject Wink

frumpety · 20/10/2019 22:41

How on earth could I have forgotten the boiler suit ? This is without doubt the most riot worthy outfit there is, functional , on trend and pockets a plenty ! Thick leather or canvas ( webbing too ) belt around the waist. A sensible shoe in an funky colour , think peacock blue DM and a snazzy headscarf worn over the mouth and nose and voila !

Sunnyuplands · 20/10/2019 22:44

Thanks for the tips frumpy but I don't wear denim, no risk of chaffing here.
I'm all soft pliable fabrics and sadly elastic waist bands.

I do have a cross body bag though and yes they are very useful.
And some friends who maybe able to do a sort of' led by donkeys 'esq projection onto hoc or somewhere of the clips of all those mps absolutely clear, that the ref should be honoured. Eg kier starmer, corbyn et Al.

I'm not sure I'd be throwing anything either. I really like the work the police do.
What would I chuck and at who?
Not sure about that.

Frumpy be careful, we do have secret police in here and whilst I find your remarks amusing, they don't have a sense of fun, humour or irony and you could get done for inciting civil violence.

DustyDiamond · 20/10/2019 22:45

.

Brexit Arms pop up pops up again!
frumpety · 20/10/2019 22:49

I could certainly get done by the Fashion Police, middle aged women in boiler suits , pfft ! I am all for the not throwing stuff , having a fairly useless aim , used to have a tendency to let go at the wrong point in the throw , no-one stood behind me in javelin !

Sunnyuplands · 20/10/2019 22:50

😂😂😂 Their so funny all these meme things.
Hilarious!!

Frumpy I do like sounds of boiler suit actually or just jump suit..my protest could take form of really loud inhaler by sky news and perhaps a tambourine to off set that glockenspiel.

DustyDiamond · 20/10/2019 22:55

Here's the longer version of the thing from earlier

m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=mHZFICg6EIE

frumpety · 20/10/2019 22:56

Inciting civil violence by recommending a good emollient to prevent chafing, oh yes that will go down well in front of the Judge. Frumpety told me how to prevent chafing, so I decided to partake in a spot of civil unrest, its all her fault for leading me astray with her skin integrity knowledge, I cant possibly be held to account for my own action m' lord Smile

DustyDiamond · 20/10/2019 22:59

Think the link was dodgy again soz

Hopefully this works...

frumpety · 20/10/2019 23:00

I prefer the term boiler suit , jump suit sounds so risque Sunny , but I agree overall comfy and practical, all the wearers round me have a back note of pig or cow and a pocket full of baler twine.

There’s a longer version?? are you trying to give me a heart attackGrin

How can they say that ? once in a lifetime/generational vote though ? Say we don't leave ( I know !!!) and the EU goes off the rails , how can people elected to office today say how people elected to office in the future will react ? They can't.

DustyDiamond · 20/10/2019 23:10

😂😂

It's only about a minute extra

Walkingdeadfangirl · 21/10/2019 00:42

Have just watched the extended version of that link. Its amazing how many lies those remainers told. I knew it happened but to see it all in one place is quite something.

There really should be a special place in hell.

frumpety · 21/10/2019 06:32

Very clever spot of editing on that link. Most of the quotes are post referendum aren't they ?

GreenishMe · 21/10/2019 06:52

I knew it happened but to see it all in one place is quite something.

Shocking isn't it??

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 07:41

Very clever spot of editing on that link.

Would be interesting to see if they went on to say "but of course I don't believe that, and instead you can be sure I'll do everything possible to overturn or block it"

Or went on to say "but of course that's only if we secure a Remain win. If leave win then disregard all my assurances and promises"

lonelyplanetmum · 21/10/2019 07:54

I knew it happened but quite interesting to see it in one place

Isn't it rather odd to attach so much importance to evolving statements of opposition politicians when they are not even in charge?

What about the equivalent statements of the Leave leaders and the party in control now?

I have much more respect for Leavers who say. Look we know we were lied to. We know any deal we get will be economically worse. But it’s about a feeling, if the economy takes a huge hit and people suffer it’s worth it.

Do you know I have never heard a Leaver admit they were lied to.

What would you say to a video seeing all the following comments in one place?

I made one absolute promise in that campaign. We will be in control, for good or for bad, I never promised it would be a huge success, I never said it would be a failure, I just said we'd be in control.

Boris Johnson 6 March 2016

Everybody is suddenly wrangling about the terrors of the world outside... Actually, there are plenty of people who now think the cost of getting out would be virtually nil and the cost of staying in would be very high.

Johnson 11 July 2017:
There is no plan for no deal, because we’re going to get a great deal.

Gove June 2016
“We have four years more or less between now and date of next election. We can easily conclude a new settlement with EU in that period.”

Carswell on 8 June 2016:
I think we could very easily get a better trade deal than we have at the moment.

27 March 2017 Matthew Elliott said he was confident everything could be tied up with a neat little bow within two years:
All the problems that you traditionally have with a trade negotiation aren't there.

Elliot November 2016:
It's actually quite a simple deal... They have a pretty comprehensive plan for what they want to negotiate once they've triggered Article 50.

Brexit means Brexit and we’re going to make a titanic success of it.

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 21/10/2019 07:57

Yes they are frumpety

And a fair few are relatively recent...so over 2 years later

I dont really understand why the British people dont get a say on the deal or no deal...though to be fair its a very hard subject to understand and most people wont be prepared to read that massive document Grin

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 08:12

That's one of the reasons why a 2nd ref is not the answer Frumpety.

If it's deal/no-deal then a lot of people are likely to go for no-deal because it's clean & straightforward regardless of how damaging it may or may not be.
We've witnessed already how MPs & others with deep pockets & other forms of capital will do everything possible to subvert things so there is a very simple lack of trust towards opting for 'deal'

If it's leave/remain then that's just spitting in our faces as leave voters.
Rich & powerful people didn't like the result so you can't have it. Vote again dickheads.
If Remain were to win in anything less than an equal turnout and equal margin then it is again a punch in the face.

If it's a deal/Remain ref then that is disingenuous & sophistry.
It's not a 'deal' it's a WA.
The future relationship has not been decided yet.

DustyDiamond · 21/10/2019 08:14

Meant Rufus not Frumpety in last post, soz
