Quite coincidentally I too have been in negotiations today regarding the pubs licence and it's good news here as well, a deal has been agreed!!

There were no amendments or legal objections put forward so a shiny new licence has been issued and normal service can be resumed Smile

Same rules apply.

Now let's hope Saturday's proceedings can go ahead without the usual dicking around and that what has been nigh on impossible during the last 3 years, a majority, can be achieved otherwise I feel we are off to hell in a handcart!

First drink is on the house 🍻🍷🍻🍷Cheers

Oh 'digredees' con trick of all times.

What does that word mean?
Nice clear speech from tm.

DustyDiamond · 19/10/2019 13:24

TM was good 👏👏👏

Parker231 · 19/10/2019 13:24

Boris is incredibly rude. I think Theresa May is the only person he is actually listening to. He’s been arrogant to Ian Blackford. Boris needs to remember his opinion isn’t worth any more than anyone else.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 19/10/2019 13:24

Just seen pictures of some people marching around London. It looks like the zombie apocalypse, just a mob shuffling around with nothing useful to do.

DustyDiamond · 19/10/2019 13:25

He’s been arrogant to Ian Blackford.

I'm with Boris here tbh

Blackford is a glaekit fool

DustyDiamond · 19/10/2019 13:26

{A majority of the voting electorate voted to Leave the EU.}
Based on a manifesto of lies about what Leaving would actually mean to the prosperity of the UK. the government has already 'spaffed' around 70 Billion on this fiasco, so where are the wondrous benefits? no evidence so far. Universal Credit is a huge success and is helping out all the poorer families. That has nothing to do with the EU, so why has that not been done properly? maybe the Tory government has something to do with it's success?

Walkingdeadfangirl · 19/10/2019 13:50

If Letwin blocks a deal for another 3 months what point is their continuing, Super Saturday will be a bust.

We will just be twiddling our thumbs until January when we go through all this nonsense all over again. MPs are pathetic, I expect one hell of a reckoning when these cowards face re-election.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 19/10/2019 13:55

Agree. Walkingdeadfangirl, it’s all getting ridiculously pathetic.

Parker231 · 19/10/2019 13:58

From BBC Twitter - if Letwin amendment passes, it is too late for the govt to pull the main vote on the deal, but it can be 'negatived' - ie if the govt doesn't provide tellers or no one shouts 'aye' on the second call (yes I know) then the vote could just come to a halt

howabout · 19/10/2019 14:00

No no walking they'll be no time for thumb twiddling. We'll have a 2nd Ref and the Govt will send us all a copy of the Deal to fully scrutinise together wit Guy's latest pronouncements on the EU direction of travel.

There will be a "citizenship style" multi guess test to make sure anyone seeking to vote in a 2nd Ref is fully informed and qualified to vote.

Then once the 2nd Ref is done if it is a narrow result we can have another 3 years tweaking the Deal / Remain to bring together the nay sayers. This will of course require a Citizens Assembly and a further Referendum.

I think the FTPA will make us fit in a GE in amongst this. Of course during the GE no-one will be able to discuss Brexit because it is subject to cross-party arrangements.

Sunnyuplands · 19/10/2019 14:05

Intelligence test centers, lie detector machines, interviews, copies of exams achieved.

They are utterly mad.

Utterly mad... It's a tactic.

Drag it out for so long, wear everyone down. Eventually it will go away.

howabout · 19/10/2019 14:13

Antoinette Sandbach lets the cat right out the bag. Backs Letwin and also affirms would back a 2nd Ref Amendment to WAB.

Back Letwin to block Brexit and GE.

DustyDiamond · 19/10/2019 14:14

Agree with PP - there will be a HUGE reckoning at the ballot box come the GE

Sunnyuplands · 19/10/2019 14:18

I'm not confident of that without brexit party pact.

54321go · 19/10/2019 14:26

BoJo has to present a withdrawal agreement ultimately. The existing one took around 2 years to draw up and BoJo's will have to be equally comprehensive. He had better start working.

DustyDiamond · 19/10/2019 14:32

Gove slaying as well 🙌

BertrandRussell · 19/10/2019 14:38

Gove was surprisingly good.

Have you been triggered, dear?
To be fair, there was a counter-demo. You can compare the size of the respective crowds here. Sorry if it triggers you again. Grin

howabout · 19/10/2019 14:49

DUP voting with Labour for Letwin.

What's the excuse for no VoNC now?

Parker231 · 19/10/2019 14:51

Letwin has won - now it’s getting really interesting!

Parker231 · 19/10/2019 14:52

Boris must now request an extension

DustyDiamond · 19/10/2019 14:52

✅ Poll Tax

✅ Fixed Term Parliament Act

✅ Block Brexit

👏👏👏

Well done Letwin!

At least there is consistency in your cuntery!

BertrandRussell · 19/10/2019 14:52

Thangam Debbonaire is a brilliant name.
