So, Hunt v Johnson

TheABC · 20/06/2019 18:07

Brain bleach required with the Boris scenarios.

At the moment, it appears to be one of two scenarios. A no confidence vote in the new Government, giving way to a GE or the default no deal. At this late stage, is anything else possible?

NoWordForFluffy · 20/06/2019 18:07

Hunt through!

billysboy · 20/06/2019 18:09

Haha bye bye Gove

NoWordForFluffy · 20/06/2019 18:09

I don't want to imagine being Boris' fluffer in any sense really, buffy!

And that was bloody close between Gove and Hunt. 😱

Iambuffy · 20/06/2019 18:09

Thought so.

Random18 · 20/06/2019 18:09

Boris has been up to dirty tricks hasn’t he?

He only got a few of Saj’s votes?

Iambuffy · 20/06/2019 18:10

Gove isnt well liked by colleagues.

The80sweregreat · 20/06/2019 18:10

My thoughts are that 160,000 Tories are more likely to vote for Boris as he is a leaver.

Songsofexperience · 20/06/2019 18:10

Perfect selection to please the brexit Taliban.

Peregrina · 20/06/2019 18:12

Didn't Hunt vote Remain?

Well, if Boris gets it, I sincerely hope the EU tell him to 'get stuffed' and he either causes us to crash out and wreck the economy, wrecking his own career and the Tory party in the process, or he has to revoke. Betraying the true Leaver believers.

ThereWillBeAdequateFood · 20/06/2019 18:13

Boris has been up to dirty tricks hasn’t he?

Definitely

dreichuplands · 20/06/2019 18:19

It cannot end well for Boris because there are no good ways out of this mess and only worse ways for people pushing Brexit.

Iambuffy · 20/06/2019 18:22

Its been obvious for some time that bojo will be next PM.

1tisILeClerc · 20/06/2019 18:23

I'm sorry. I promise I will go and do something else for a while but it (sort of) occurred to me that as Boris is still undecided which way to go at the last minute, maybe he'll toss* for it?

*With a coin you smutty lot!

ThereWillBeAdequateFood · 20/06/2019 18:23

Tragically it’s also been obvious he’s going to be awful. Sad

1tisILeClerc · 20/06/2019 18:24

Oh look, there's an interesting thread about having a car parked on your driveway.

Ellie56 · 20/06/2019 18:24

I hope if Boris has been playing dirty tricks that it backfires on him and Hunt is voted in.

GoFiguire · 20/06/2019 18:25

I wonder what the spoiled paper said?

wheresmymojo · 20/06/2019 18:26

159,999 since I am a brand spanking new shiny female Northern working class Remainer Tory for four months only unless I decide to infiltrate them further

Jsmith99 · 20/06/2019 18:28

That’s a perfect outcome for Boris. Hunt is a former Remainer, so the outcome of the membership vote is a foregone conclusion. I wonder if Hunt might realise he is completely wasting his time and withdraw, in exchange for a promise from Boris that he can continue as Foreign Secretary?
