It's going to be Boris, isn't it. Shoot me now.

Woman, are you saying that everyone who voted leave is racist?

How do you know this? How many of the 17million do you know? Is it just that you don't agree with us?

It is absolute bloody rubbish and you should know it.

Mistigri · 13/06/2019 23:08

Lots of racism from leavers on these threads. There is an entire dogwhistling thread about London not being English anymore which finally collapsed into outright racism with someone calling Asians stinky.

You may not be racist but you need to consider the company you keep.

woman19 · 13/06/2019 23:12

copper

Turgidly predictable as ever.

Brexists have destroyed yet another life, and those of this poor child's family.

I'd suggest they say sorry, educate themselves on avoiding racist behaviour, and start a reparations fund for the victims.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 14/06/2019 02:02

@woman19 I am not interested in engaging with your vile abusive hate assault on Brexiteers. So goodbye, enjoy your negativity. I prefer to be free.

YourOP · 14/06/2019 02:57

This whole idea that the UK will be “free” if it leaves the EU is the biggest myth ever.

Inside the EU the UK is/was an absolute heavyweight. For years it has been getting special deals and opt-outs and a discount on its membership fees, while pretty much drawing up the rule book for the single market, and pushing for the Eastern European states to join - all because nothing goes inside the EU without the UK’s approval.

By leaving its position at the levers of EU power the UK has instantly lost most of its standing and influence in the world.

The vultures are circling.

bellinisurge · 14/06/2019 06:37

This " EU making our laws" thing. I was in another long time EU country recently. It's cute me late absence of health and safety on some fundamental stuff was eye opening. Plenty of bendy banana type stuff as well. It has less of a litigation culture than we do. That would seem to be the most difference.

bellinisurge · 14/06/2019 06:38

Cute me? CompleteGrinGrin

bellinisurge · 14/06/2019 06:41

And the whole Corbyn's Left thing? Do you seriously think Corbyn and his momentum pals are Remainers?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

1tisILeClerc · 14/06/2019 08:09

Wakingdead
{And that is why we need to get out of the EU asap, so we can bring our country back together again.}

THAT will not happen for many years, if at all.
ONLY 17.4 million claim they wanted out. That means around 43 Million did not want out, (not all could vote of course) and they were pretty sure why.
Come November 1st the Brexiteers/Leavers will have to actually put a herculean effort in to even retain the same standards of living never mind the bollocks of 'freedom/unicorns/prosperity/sunny upland pastures'.
The 43 Million are going to be mightily pissed off at those who dragged the UK out of the EU, so the chance of bringing the country back together' this generation or two is very unlikely.
With Trumps trade 'war' with China and Mexico, and the increasing possibility of conflict with Iran, this looks a wonderful time for the UK to be looking for a new 'best buddy'.

AlexaShutUp · 14/06/2019 08:47

And that is why we need to get out of the EU asap, so we can bring our country back together again.

The country will never come back together again. Scotland will probably vote for independence, so we'll almost see the break-up of the UK. The fallout from Brexit will be so shit that we'll probably end up with riots on the streets. Violence will flare up in Northern Ireland again.

Many remainers will never, ever be able to forgive the Brexiteers for the mess that they have created. And you will hang your heads in shame.

AlexaShutUp · 14/06/2019 08:48

Almost certainly see.

Helmetbymidnight · 14/06/2019 09:12

And that is why we need to get out of the EU asap, so we can bring our country back together again

i think thats a joke, right?

Caucasianchalkcircles · 14/06/2019 09:30

Trash the country’s economy so we can build it back up Grin

bellinisurge · 14/06/2019 09:50

Anyone who crashes us out has a job on their hands "bringing the country back together again ". Mind you, they'll be so busy dealing with our fucked economy they won't have time. Fuck off anyone who thinks No Deal will bring us together.

Peregrina · 14/06/2019 10:31

And you will hang your heads in shame.

They won't - they will be a thousand times more mardy than they have been for the last three years, and it will have been everyone's fault but theirs.

twofingerstoEverything · 14/06/2019 10:49

And that is why we need to get out of the EU asap, so we can bring our country back together again
Genuinely baffled by this. Leaving the EU will increase divides, not 'bring our country back together again.'

countrygirl99 · 14/06/2019 12:41

I was chatting with some Americans the other day, bonding over the dire state of our respective political arenas. Their view was Trump supports Boris because he makes Trump look competent.

Ellie56 · 14/06/2019 13:04

And that is why we need to get out of the EU asap, so we can bring our country back together again .Hmm

Good luck with that one.

ContinuityError · 14/06/2019 13:17

And that is why we need to get out of the EU asap, so we can bring our country back together again

Talking about the Island of Ireland perhaps?

bellinisurge · 14/06/2019 13:30

@ContinuityError GrinGrinGrin

Bearbehind · 14/06/2019 15:01

It’s not difficult to see why the Leave disciples like copper and walking are still spouting their ridiculous soundbites when BJ is feeding them with shite like this

I have no words for the contempt I have for him or the media for allowing him to go unchallenged.

Zipee · 14/06/2019 15:05

"People from other countries making our laws".

Problem is when British judges, make rullings on British law, saying that the sovereign British Parliament with British politicians elected by the British people must vote on changes to British constitutional law, lots of leavers don't like it.

1tisILeClerc · 14/06/2019 15:19

{Copper and walking are still spouting their ridiculous soundbites }

They have been told often enough that All laws enacted in the UK have been passed by the UK legal system, and that if you 'break' any, it is the UK legal system that will chase you up.
Since these two in particular have been told so may times, they are either incredibly stupid, or just continuing for effect. They don't fool anyone.

HateIsNotGood · 14/06/2019 16:25

And neither do you clerc

1tisILeClerc · 14/06/2019 16:29

Oh dear I am going to cry as HateIsNotGood has popped in with her vacuous comment.
Failure to understand how the EU works and worse, not being arsed to find out is pathetic.
