Wakefield (Yorkshire & the Humber) result: Brex: 44.6% (+44.6) Lab: 17.0% (-17.0) LDem: 10.0% (+7.6) Grn: 8.0% (+3.0)

Scarborough (Yorkshire & the Humber) result: Brex: 43.4% (+43.4) LDem: 13.8% (+9.6) Grn: 11.1% (+2.6) Lab: 9.8% (-8.1) Con: 8.7% (-18.1) UKIP: 4.9% (-31.8)

Lewisham (London) result: LDem: 28.1% (+22.1) Lab: 26.0% (-19.9) Grn: 20.1% (+5.7) Brex: 11.9% (+11.9) Con: 3.4% (-8.1) UKIP: 1.4% (-10.9)

Peterborough (East of England) result: Brex: 38.3% (+38.3) Lab: 17.2% (-7.9) LDem: 15.4% (+10.9) Con: 10.9% (-14.7) Grn: 10.8% (+5.1) UKIP: 3.6% (-29.9)

BCF, at the moment it LOOKS as if the BP will get 25 seats from what I can see (+1 from UKIP). Thats NOT a good result. Especially since it look like Plaid, LDs, Greens and SNP will have MORE than 25 seats even though they have a remain split which makes it more difficult to win seats.

Mass public lobotomy yes.

Would also make a great username... 😂

Basilpots · 26/05/2019 23:18

So Brexit Party biggest party in Wales but lost the ‘popular’ vote. If only Remain had stood on one platform.

Labour must be crapping themselves about that by election.

Also, I’ve never been totally convinced that the BBC has a pro-Brexit bias. The current website headline says that the Tories and Labour have both been hammered and the Brexshits and LDs have shown massive gains. Seems pretty balanced to me!

Thank you Red for the night shift.

Keep adding Green and LibDem %s together- makes me feel a little better about the Faragist fan club eschewing any requirement for principle or policy.

Fab line in @guardian about spoilt ballots in Leicester:

“Williams...found one ballot which had ‘wank’ written in every single box apart from that of the Green party. The voter left a note saying ‘not wank’ for the environmentalist party which was deemed acceptable as a vote.”

[Prof John] Curtice confirms that the vote for Remain parties will be roughly equal to the vote for no deal parties.

Emily thornberry speaking out is being discussed on sky.

She was beginning to lose her patience on GMB this wk - it's what made Mr hazard like her.
