I really didn't mean to stay up for this but thank you for the thread.

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 26/05/2019 23:11

Horrified that London has returned 2 BXP MEPs.

Not quite sure why Emily Thornberry has come as the Vicar of Dibley tonight, either.

BigChocFrenzy · 26/05/2019 23:12

Wales was an earthquake - Labour coming 4th

London was an earthquake - LD winning

Likely Tory - and Labour - losses .... earthquake

If Farage gets about same seats as UKIP in 2014, no earthquake there .... let's wait & see final results

Emily Thornberry says she’s not surprised Labour lost Islington to LibDems - says it took 5 minutes to explain her party’s Brexit policy.

Could the BBC not manage to get a Lib Dem in the Studio?! They couldn't get a Brexit Party either! Why?!!! Very bizarre.

Dundee (changes vs 2014); SNP - 46.1% (+5.8) Brex - 14.0% (+14.0) Lab - 11.4% (-15.4) Lib Dem - 9.3% (+5.8) Con - 8.1% (-3.8) Green - 7.3% (+0.8) UKIP - 1.7% (-7.1) ChUK - 1.5% (+1.5) Inds x 2 - 0.5% (+0.5)

Re-elected Labour MEP Seb Dance speaking at the London declaration: "Labour has lost its voice because it tried to please two completely opposite sides of the coin, it's not possible... London has sent a clear signal, we can stop Brexit, we must stop Brexit"

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 26/05/2019 23:13

Am pleased that Seb Dance retained his seat though.

Emily Thornberry gives me the rage.

BestIsWest · 26/05/2019 23:14

Labour third in Wales not fourth. Not by much. Though.

Icantreachthepretzels · 26/05/2019 23:14

It was the night of the GE that I started following these threads religiously. I kept watching until it was impossible for the conservatives to get a majority. I'm glad I don't have to work tomorrow because I'm in this until the bitter end. I'm knitting a jumper in between refreshing this thread.

Thanks Red

Jellykat · 26/05/2019 23:15

Farage must be pissing buckets of excitement..
What is wrong with people? Trump, Farage and possibly Boris? Its like some mass public lobotomy!

UrsulaPandress · 26/05/2019 23:15

And the signal from the rest of the country?

Just in #TommyRobinson is believed to have 40k votes, and failed to secure a seat as MEP.
