Leavers, I'm a leaver... are you out there

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 20:43

I know this thread will get trolled and spammed with the usual suspects demanding answers from us.

But I'm hoping any leavers out there could ignore them and tell me how their feeling.

Right now I'm wondering who the hell is speaking out for us? It's gone very quiet....

There is some momentum from pro Europe voices... but aside from a damp squib march from farage..does anyone else think it's gone eerily quiet!!

^And I tried to ask pertinent questions today. On another thread. I didn't vote so am still on the fence and invited remainers to educate me.
Most were horrible and rude .^

That's not true!

Listen to me. Do you know how many women on this site have had miscarriages or stillbirths? 1 in 3 pregnancies is lost. It's happened to a lot of women on here, including me.
Posters were sympathetic to you, but you were told that using your stillbirth to silence and guilt trip us is not on.
The thread is still up if anyone wants to take a look. There were no vile posts and it's completely untrue to claim that most posters were horrible and rude.

Mookatron · 26/03/2019 23:03

OP you claim on a different thread to have voted remain originally and changed your mind so I'd just sit tight and pick whatever side wins.

1tisILeClerc · 26/03/2019 23:04

{ that it's not ok to squat in the street and shit and piss there - to use a toilet!}

Yes it's gross, the same as the disgusting antics of British stag/hen parties.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 26/03/2019 23:04

mook

I think thats burps plan

Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 23:05

I can only comment on what I deal with.

Those communities are blighting the lives of the established communities they are upsetting and taking over.

People from previously quiet streets are now dealing with knife crime, gang violence, children in the street all night, toileting issues and fly tipping in The street. It's easy to say it's a minority until you either live with it or are tasked to solve it .
There are also issues of criminality. I'm sick of wasting days trying to get Interpreters for police interviews.

If I go to abroad and shoplift do I get an interpreter paid for by the state?

I deal with so many it's wearing. Gangs of shoplifters here just to commit shoplifting crime. Why? Because they can. No penalty. No punishment. Legal representation and interpretation as a right. Ask cops why they want out....

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:06

Oh just bore , I have no doubt we will be fine. ..but right now we are looking at no Brexit. ..

What's Jacob rm Been playing at!!
Their in Westminster.. it's obvious from way outside what's going on.. why didn't he support deal front the off and keep ball rolling..out.
.he and the gang didn't support and now in quagmire

@JustHereForThePooStories
I don't blame you. Britain has made a complete and utter fool of itself with this Brexit nonsense, the whole world is laughing at us. Are you in the Netherlands by chance? I meet exporters all the time through my job and they all seem to be moving there.

Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 23:09

Tanirh

Many posters were actually vile a minority were not
And a still birth is not the same as a miscarriage.

I had zero Interest I the result of the referendum the day it happened because I had a still birth .

Yes I'm sure the thread is still
Up. I hid it after the first few nasty responses and I did t vote because I was in hospital. I asked pertinent questions in case of another vote.

Nothing yet has convinced me to
Vote remain.

Ohjustboreoff · 26/03/2019 23:11

@BurpsandHustles Jacob RM will have his own agenda, all MP's are just looking after themselves. They all want to line their pockets and that is why I fear Brexit is dead and so is democracy. The people voted for brexit the MP's should stop fighting and get behind the people's vote. But with TM saying there will not be a no deal the U.K. have shown their hand and the EU will use that to try and give us nothing.
TM has obviously never played poker!

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:13

Hellen I don't doubt what your saying at all
I have some close friend's in certain area who have seen rough end of immigration.

But singling out specific communities is racist. That's why you got deleted.

OP posts:
BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:15

How can anyone play poker when someone is standing behind you telling everyone what your cards are.

Parliament stopped her. They would have stopped a Brexit eer too

OP posts:
Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 23:18

The guile saying
Listen to me! Why? My
Thread asked 4 perfectly legitimate and fair questions!

And the responses were vile. Nothing I read before I hid it helped me at
All.

I was
Expecting another vote and those
Replies did nothing except make
Me hide a thread and stick to
What I thought!
I was asking for mind to be changed!

I was asking honestly put pertinent questions that might help.

I was born 72. I was asking how the eu was value for money and why we joined and got shot down and I'm happy for anyone to read that.

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:19

What literally happens if Brexit fails and democracy is dead.

Parliament becomes meaningless and anyone's vote will be worthless.

Our own government shown hollow and self serving and above them.. the EU over lord's.

OP posts:
1tisILeClerc · 26/03/2019 23:19

{All the Remainers will shout that it will take too long but nothing worthwhile happens overnight.}
Typical trade deals take around 10 years. Greenland negotiated on 1 item, fish, and it took 3 years. The UK has the best part of 700 to do.

{I'm hoping that went trade is disrupted with the EU British farmers and small businesses will step up and start filling the gaps left by others. That's how business works, you see a gap and fill it. I want to see more British products on the shelves, it will be more expensive for a while but then items will find there price. All the better for British producers and businesses.}

The UK is short of raw materials so will have to buy in, at higher tariff rates than the EU companies. It will also have to apply tariffs to everything it sells and still meet all certifications and regulations of the EU or other destination country. UK companies will therefore have an extra burden of at least 10% over equivalent companies in the EU.
The UK government is only offering to cover EU subsidies paid to farmers for 2 years. BoJohnson's expression 'fuck business' has REAL meaning.
The UK is leaving in either 2 1/2 weeks or 22nd May, so some serious planning needs to be done.

SeeYouLaterUserData · 26/03/2019 23:20

Erm...keeping no deal on the table wasn't like poker, it was more like russian roulette...and it broke every rule of good negotiation protocol for future sustainable business relationships. It was also fucking nasty to the millions of people whose livelihoods and stability would be shattered by this.

JRM is in it for cash not country...this is why he's now happy to settle for May's deal even though he said it was bad for the UK. He'll make more cash out of that than a dreaded no-brexit. Simple.

Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 23:21

Op I've said and mean it - is the vote is now overuled I will not ever vote again on any local
Or national elections. It
Will be proven pointless.

Ohjustboreoff · 26/03/2019 23:22

@BurpsandHustles and that is why we will never have a deal on the table everyone can agree on. Who starts negotiations with "There will not be a no deal" and then all the in fighting. The MP's forgetting who voted them in and doing their own thing.
Poker is about bluffing and TM took that right off the table at the beginning, with all the shoulder surfing it just went down hill rapidly!

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:23

Yes but not just yours, every single poster on MN. Every single person in this counties vote will become suddenly pointless.

There's much bigger issues here. Far greater than us remaining or leaving EU.

OP posts:
Ohjustboreoff · 26/03/2019 23:24

And will will have a dictatorship.

Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 23:25

I agree op.

Voting for something has to be counted and if not then the vote is pointless.

1tisILeClerc · 26/03/2019 23:27

Since this is turning into the leavers 'pity party' there is no point in continuing.
It obviously hasn't occurred to you that Brexit is a shit idea, sold to you by liars.

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:27

It's terrifying and not far off.

It's happened many times before.
If Brexit fails we are heading for dictatorship and re education of our children... EU will never allow this sort of subordinate again.

OP posts:
swirlette · 26/03/2019 23:29

OP what is it that you want people to be saying on your behalf? Genuine question, as all I see of leavers are the awful right wing idiots so I'm presuming you're looking for a leaver view other than theirs to be represented, I'd be really interested to hear what a more normal POV is.

BurpsandHustles · 26/03/2019 23:30

Remainers here will be happy ( some) if Brexit doesn't go through.

But one day...they will vote on something else and it's too late . Their vote won't count and it will be too late. By that point we will be truly enslaved to EU.

OP posts:
Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 23:31

I wish I could link my thread asking my questions on the E U now to show that I was asking in good faith and some posters were actually bastards.

Can't believe having a still birth is getting compared to a miscarriage. My daughter had a funeral. She was a person. Not a
Miscarriage. It happened on referendum day so I didn't get to vote.

I posted a thread asking pertinent questions about the eu in order to try and educate myself because I know I see only the bad from being in eu. I wanted a balanced view. Should have absolutely known better.
