I know this thread will get trolled and spammed with the usual suspects demanding answers from us.

But I'm hoping any leavers out there could ignore them and tell me how their feeling.

Right now I'm wondering who the hell is speaking out for us? It's gone very quiet....

There is some momentum from pro Europe voices... but aside from a damp squib march from farage..does anyone else think it's gone eerily quiet!!

OP posts:

Where are the leave voices? All over the tv and pretty much all of the print media. Same as where they have always been. The problem is the brexit ballon has nearly burst and brexiteers have no cards left to play.

lljkk · 26/03/2019 21:32

OMG. There's an actual book of these.

Leavers, I'm a leaver... are you out there
AssassinatedBeauty · 26/03/2019 21:33

@Ohjustboreoff do you want to leave with no deal, with TM's deal or do you think a different leader could have got a better deal and what would that have been?

happyhillock · 26/03/2019 21:34

I'm a leaver and would vote again to leave, it's the remain politician's that are causing the problems, there like 5 year old's in the playground,

MrPickles73 · 26/03/2019 21:35

I'm a leaver. Just want to get out. Am happy with no deal Brexit.

keepforgettingmyusername · 26/03/2019 21:35

I imagine leave voters are as furious as remainers. There is not one citizen in this country who the Government haven't let down on Brexit.

Shinesweetfreedom · 26/03/2019 21:36

Look I’m a leaver but I have thought of a way to keep everyone happy.
We stay in,but those that wanted to stay in pay higher taxes that benefit those areas and people that are affected by being in the EU.

TalkinPaece · 26/03/2019 21:37

Leavers ....
Do you want No Deal ?
or do you want the WA
or do you want the single market?
which version of Brexit do you want?

I said on the results day that we would never leave as there is too much money and power with vested interests. There are concerns about the future of the EU, both politically and economically, which are never discussed as all the media and politicians are focussed on the problems of leaving

This debacle has proved we do not live in a democracy that's for sure

Ohjustboreoff · 26/03/2019 21:40

@AssassinatedBeauty I'd be happy with a no deal now. I think the government will never be able to get a deal that is good for our country and that the EU will except so they should just stop trying and in fighting. Just get on with it!
And yes I do think it will be tough in the beginning but eventually I believe it will lead to better individual trade deals with nonEU countries.

Stilltalkstotrees · 26/03/2019 21:40

Politicians are only out for themselves and placed all the roadblocks in order to then say "look at these roadblocks which means it is a bad idea to leave the eu”

Why would they do this though? How would it be ‘looking out for themselves’? Why wouldn’t they just capitulate to the will of the leavers in order to keep their jobs? Could it be that they actually - shock, horror - are trying to do what’s best for the country?

TalkinPaece · 26/03/2019 21:41

How long is eventually?
Which countries?

Mistigri · 26/03/2019 21:42

a damp squib march from farage

Why weren't you marching? What were you doing that was more important to you?

Just curious why leavers don't demonstrate.

HateIsNotGood · 26/03/2019 21:43

WA - talkinpeace, I want WA
now what option of Leave do people who voted Remain want?

Ohjustboreoff · 26/03/2019 21:44

@TalkinPaece how longs a piece of string and how many countries are there outside the EU!

AssassinatedBeauty · 26/03/2019 21:45

So decades before improvement is acceptable?

Hellenbackagen · 26/03/2019 21:46

I wish they would just get on
With it now.
The negotiations were
Fucked
Up.

When the chief negotiator resigned I think the clues were there 🤔

TalkinPaece · 26/03/2019 21:49

who was that ? when?

AssassinatedBeauty · 26/03/2019 21:50

I don't want any of the leave options. Choosing between them is like choosing what kind of injury I'd like to inflict on myself. They're all bad, no deal is probably the worst option but TM's deal is bad in different ways.

Figmentofmyimagination · 26/03/2019 21:51

If you want to leave the EU, what is so wrong with May’s deal?

Ohjustboreoff · 26/03/2019 21:51

@AssassinatedBeauty No not decades but probably a few years. You really don't have any faith in the British public's need/want for a better future with British values at the center.
And before you start bleating on about being insular if you contribute and value equality then I'd welcome anyone with open arms.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 26/03/2019 21:52

now what option of Leave do people who voted Remain want?

Soft brexit, happy to go with WA. There are no circumstances under which I’d go for a hard brexit or no deal.

Songsofexperience · 26/03/2019 21:53

And yes I do think it will be tough in the beginning but eventually I believe it will lead to better individual trade deals with nonEU countries.

What makes you think that it'll ultimately be worth turning our backs on the well-oiled partnership with our closest neighbours? Those non EU countries can even more easily be dealt with from within the EU frameworks.
Also please consider that geography (proximity) will in fact always play a significant role. It will always be easier to trade with France, Spain or the Netherlands than with China.
For one, I can't see the cost of shipping goods from afar ever decreasing, especially with uncertainty over the future of energy resources.

grumpyyetgorgeous · 26/03/2019 21:53

Well the reply to the revoke petition was pretty unequivocal " we voted leave in 2016 and we will be leaving no matter what" does that give you any confidence? What would your perfect Brexit scenario be?
