If anyone says they know what will happen this week....

... They don't.

Theresa's on her way to the commons for the votes, I'm sitting in the dark eating square crisps in my hotel room, everyone else is asleep!

NoWordForFluffy · 25/03/2019 21:47

Camomila, we're watching the train programme. It's fascinating understanding the culture!

BigChocFrenzy · 25/03/2019 21:48

I'm off to bed (1 hour ahead in Germany)
I'll check Westminiszenders tomorrow am to see if May / the HoC hatched a useful egg overnight

woodpigeons · 25/03/2019 21:50

That’s good Mockers

BercowsSilkTie · 25/03/2019 21:51

Poorly boy asleep, book open, but I keep getting distracted by my anxiety to know what's happening. Have eaten a packet of love hearts and now have indigestion 🙄

Sostenueto · 25/03/2019 21:51

bigchoc Graylings blow up doll is stuck in a lorry somewhere in KentGrin

TatianaLarina · 25/03/2019 21:52

I’m watching Hollywood Medium on Amazon Prime trying to take my mind off Brexflix. But Ian Dunt tweets keep popping up over the top.

CordeliaEarhart · 25/03/2019 21:52

I really can't stand the way some people stand leaning one elbow / forearm on the dispatch box. It just looks so "I can't be arsed" and unprofessional. How hard is it to bloody stand up straight when speaking for a short time?!

TokyoSushi · 25/03/2019 21:54

Steve Barclay really from the school of why use 10 words when 1000 will do, talking a lot, but not saying anything 🙄

67chevvyimpala · 25/03/2019 21:54

I'm watching antman.

Sostenueto · 25/03/2019 21:56

Well a lot will think is it worth voting when the bloody Government is not going to take any notice of them.
Can't stand Barclay. Wanker! He's going to vote against Letwin, TM whiping against it anyhow.

Icantreachthepretzels · 25/03/2019 21:56

Even voting against indicative votes is having to make a choice and do something, though - and will eventually be something they get blamed for. No matter what they do now, their actions will be counted - so they might as well stand up for it and vote for something.

sadly - many of them may not have the wisdom to see this and might think that refusing to take responsibility will somehow absolve them of the blame.

Just goes to show ow mad the 'take back control' lot must've been if they were pinning their hopes on this lot to control anything. Incapable and timid and not fit for office - the vast majority of them. How are they going to take the wheel in an isolated Britain and steer it to greatness when they don't even dare vote to suggest what direction to go in>

tobee · 25/03/2019 21:56

Can't remember any sex dreams with famous people. Did have one where I went to spend the weekend with Alan Bennet recently. It wasn't sexual though.

pepinana · 25/03/2019 21:58

I haven't got the foggiest idea what's happening.

GeistohneGrenzen · 25/03/2019 21:59

I spent £20 on Aldi chocolate the other day for the stockpile

I hope you didn't buy up all their Hazelnut Heaven. That's what I'm going in for on Thursday. Oh, and anchovies Grin

TatianaLarina · 25/03/2019 21:59

I’m glad I’m not into chocolate. A packet of hula hoops is a bad as it has got today.

SusanWalker · 25/03/2019 21:59

I watched the end of a documentary on the Solomon Islands the other day. They traditionally measure their wealth in yams and have a practice called Kula which seemed very complicated, but was in essence a type of social security.

It was very interesting.

CordeliaEarhart · 25/03/2019 21:59

Richard Harrington has resigned. Hopefully he will be the first of many this week.

GD12 · 25/03/2019 21:59

Kussenberg saying Harrington has resigned.

SingingBabooshkaBadly · 25/03/2019 22:00

tobee bet the pair of you enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a Kunzel cake though Smile

OMGithurts · 25/03/2019 22:01

67chevvyimpala I watched Ant man a few years ago. Thought it was shit. Re watched it last night. It's great fun. Turns out you can't make good decisions about films when you're in hospital with your pain not controlled. Can I force a Brexit metaphor out of this somehow?

Runningintothesunset · 25/03/2019 22:02

Did I hear right that labour pulled their amendment so it’s Letwin then Beckett?

wherearemychickens · 25/03/2019 22:02

Hazelnut Heaven, you say? No, haven't tried that one yet - I've only just cottoned on to Aldi chocolate, working my way through the Moser Roth range in a very comprehensive way.

EweSurname · 25/03/2019 22:02

This feels momentous but I have no idea about the implications if it goes either way.

BiglyBadgers · 25/03/2019 22:02

I've just had a cup of cocoa and a slice of toast and peanut butter. It was lovely.
