If anyone says they know what will happen this week....

... They don't.

She's afraid the HoC would vote for SM++ which means FOM+ECJ ...... Tory party civil war if she tried to carry out that wish

or they might even choose Revoke

tobee · 25/03/2019 18:59

There's nothing wrong with a man in his fifties

wheresmymojo · 25/03/2019 19:00

Wow...just googled. I can't believe Keir is 56!

He's a year old than my Mother so now I feel very torn ConfusedBlushSad

BigChocFrenzy · 25/03/2019 19:00

Or in his 60s, especially for those of us who are 60+

wheresmymojo · 25/03/2019 19:01

I'm not a whippersnapper by the way (36), it's just my DM was very young when she had me.

We are from Stoke after all. Leaver central. Teen pregnancy central.

prettybird · 25/03/2019 19:01

Good point lonelyplanetmum Confused

not that May is able to even comprehend the inconsistency, let alone the hypocrisy Confused

Sostenueto · 25/03/2019 19:02

TM is whiping against Letwin amendment. She don't want Parliament to take over. We are fucked totally if letwin doesn't get through.

NoWordForFluffy · 25/03/2019 19:02

Wow, Keir is ageing well! I developed a crush on him last week! BlushGrin

PinkieTuscadero · 25/03/2019 19:03

Would never have guessed Keir was 56. If I was being picky I would say he has an unfortunately nasal voice.

PickleSarnie · 25/03/2019 19:03

I had a rude dream about Keir Starmer last night.

It's literally the ONLY good thing to have come out of this omnishambles.

RedToothBrush · 25/03/2019 19:03

Keir Starmer born Sept 1962
John Bercow born Jan 1963
Brad Pitt born Dec 1963

Who feels old?

I love watching the MP's faces sitting behind Starmer - "We've got the clever one".

BigChocFrenzy · 25/03/2019 19:05

Faisal Islam@faisalislam

Far from certain to me that the PM gets the numbers even with DUP. < in the unlikely event she really has them >

Labour MPs seem to have been badly mishandled - even in last week - speech, dropping of a commitment on agency worker derogation...
.....
Corbyn’s team says of hour long meeting with PM: “Jeremy Corbyn made clear there was no basis for bringing back meaningful vote on PMs deal for a third time.

Labour leader did not accept PMs suggestion Withdrawal Agreement could be separated from Political Declaration”.
......
So Labour say that PM suggested splitting Political Declaration from Withdrawal Agreement at her meeting here with Corbyn.

So pass the WA and then leave and then what?

NoWordForFluffy · 25/03/2019 19:05

To me, Brad is surprisingly old! Not sure why, as I knew he was a fair bit older than me. I suppose my own ageing is a touch surprising to me, maybe! 😂😂

PinkieTuscadero · 25/03/2019 19:05

Brad Pitt is older than Farage. That always blows my mind.

BercowsSilkTie · 25/03/2019 19:06

Starmer is rather easy on the eye but Bercow's brain and ties do it for me

WhatWouldScoobyDoo · 25/03/2019 19:06

mockers and BCF thank you for the explanations. Flowers

We really don’t learn this at school, do we? (Unless I wasn’t paying attention Grin) .

I have noticed all DC’s school plays for the last few years have had an environmental theme and that’s great as hopefully their generation will absorb that message. But there needs to be a similar focus on constitutional matters?

In other news, astonished that Bercow is 56!

NoWordForFluffy · 25/03/2019 19:07

But imagine Bercow's sex face! Grin Envy < not envy!

BigChocFrenzy · 25/03/2019 19:07

Faisal Islam@faisalislam

Labour MP in a 60% Leave area said he has 10 times as many people who have signed the Revoke petition in his constituency
versus writing letters to him to back No Deal,

that he has been open to be persuaded by PM,
but calls never came - will now vote for Kyle-Wilson amendment.

Peregrina · 25/03/2019 19:08

Farage was born in April 1964. He has not worn well - all that booze & fags. No wonder he's not up to marching from Sunderland.

67chevvyimpala · 25/03/2019 19:08

I think its bercows bed/sex hair that does it for me....always looks like he's just had a very good time:)

Kier is quite yummy.

Btw....any of you eagle eyed westminsterenders seen Jared o mara in the HofC?

NoWordForFluffy · 25/03/2019 19:09

Maybe the tide is turning, if that MP's experience is typical.

67chevvyimpala · 25/03/2019 19:09

Farage is only 54???

Christ, he looks rough as a badgers arse.

tobee · 25/03/2019 19:10

Keir has slightly cartoon hair. So I'd obviously have to turn him down if he asked

Oliver Letwin on the other hand is 62. And looks like a cartoon Tory. Even though we're counting on him quite a lot right now
