There is no form of exit agreement that can command a Parliamentary majority, and none that satisfies the commitment to not have an Irish border. The UK had better hope that the EU grants an extension to the negotiations or the country faces serious economic, political and civil disruption.

Goodness, I go away for a weekend and there's a whole new thread with hundreds of posts!

I've not been keen on the idea of another referendum either. Needless to say, if there was another ref, I'd vote Remain wholeheartedly and urge everyone I know to turn out and vote too. But (apart from saving us from the full horror delights of Brexitonomics) I think the divisions in society are not going to be repaired by another referendum and probably even worsened.
