Faith, as pretty much every impact assessment states Brexit is throwing the UK under a bus.

So blinded by the brexit bullshit and defending the most inept government in living memory you cannot see this. You joke about “jezbollah” without a hint of irony. Brexit is a cult.

You do know that Corbyn has been anti EU his whole life ?

Yes.

But his lust for power is winning out at the mo.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 08/03/2018 21:13

All politics is a lust for power. See Bojo, brexit and his lust for no.10.

TalkinPeace · 08/03/2018 21:13

But his lust for power is winning out at the mo.

HA HA HA HA HA HA
ROTFLMAOPMPL
the allotment king has NEVER had a lust for power
not sure where you get that idea
its what drives the rest of Labour MPs hatstand about him

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 21:15

You really didn't read the feel of the UK well did you London. The UK have had a core of people who have always wanted to leave. We were not dragged along by the media or Facebook, or even a figure on a bus. All these things were extras that swag a few over to our side. But had D.C. the PM at the time not had a massive ego not commited the most stupid act of anyone in the last decade there is no way we could have done this. People are allowed to change the way a country is heading. This is what has happened. Blame who you like but you also have to bare some of this blame, all this knowledge was out there before we voted, and most people did nothing. Just sat and thought it wouldn't happen.

Moussemoose · 08/03/2018 21:18

Ok so your very serious accusation is based on rumours, leaks and gossip.

The opposition doesn't just hold the government to account "within parliament" that would be silly. It holds the government to account.

I know you don't like to provide sources so I did a quick google, The Sun, The Express and The Telegraph report using your phraseology.

Another way of looking at it might be the leader of the opposition is seeking a less damaging policy. He is researching the viability of this by talking to those involved. He will then be in a position to present an alternative policy to the electorate. This is his job.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 08/03/2018 21:19

Mummy, given leavers have no fucking idea how Northern Ireland will operate after Brexit If “the knowledge” was out there prior to the referendum leavers sure as hell weren’t looking for it.

Moussemoose · 08/03/2018 21:21

@mummmy2017 How are you feeling about those EU tax plans? The ones taking money from the rich to give to the poor. I thought they seemed like a good idea.

Each country levying is own tax obviously- just working together to eliminate fraud and tax dodging.

TalkinPeace · 08/03/2018 21:22

mummmy
Do you have any comments on the links I found based on your instructions at the end of the last thread ?

You know, the ones about the EU trying to clamp down on tax evasion by the rich - just after Brexit takes effect

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 21:28

I agree anyone avoid tax should be made to pay.
However the EU TIN. I think is more to be able to take control of taxes paid by all EU members in the long run, more proof of the EU super state.
It was touted as this by Junkier, hence why I posted it in the first place.

TalkinPeace · 08/03/2018 21:34

Mummmy
The TIN It was touted as this by Junkier, hence why I posted it in the first place.
link please .....
it is just a database of NI numbers
it is to stop shits like Rothermere avoiding paying tax on the money he makes from the Mail
how can that ever be a bad thing??????

Moussemoose · 08/03/2018 21:39

The U.K. government would never have the nerve to do this.

The EU steps up and takes action against tax avoidance.

You are more concerned about EU taking control of taxes - they are coordinating tax to eliminated tax avoidance.

Your obsession with the EU will allow tax avoidance to continue, I hope you are proud of yourself. You claim to support the poor but the evidence is you support the rich.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 08/03/2018 21:41

Why would brexiteers want newspaper owners to pay more tax? These papers peddle the soothing shit brexiteers love.

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 21:44

It was stated that the TIN would be used by the EU to place a tax on all members to help with the gap in the budget. I as talking about the little people. Your the ones trying to make it more than that.

Cupofteaandtoilet · 08/03/2018 21:46

I love this pub. Hic.

Someone take Mummmy's keys off her, I don't think she should be driving home.

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 21:48

And also shouldn't the taxes on the rich be going to the country the earner it in. Not to the EU....

gussyfinknottle · 08/03/2018 21:51

I'm completely swayed by all the reasonable arguments put forward by the Leavers as to why this is a great move.
As my dd would say .... Not.

TalkinPeace · 08/03/2018 21:53

mummmy
I am impressed by how firmly you are grasping the wrong end of the stick with both hands
And also shouldn't the taxes on the rich be going to the country the earner it in. Not to the EU....
It IS going to the countries
as the EU does not collect taxes - read the link you told me to find
The EU then allows countries to cross reference their taxes to stop avoidance
Why do you not like that ?
Why do you think the UK will benefit from opting out of cross border tax collection ?

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 21:56

Gussy this vote was never about the things on this post.
It was do you want to remain... Yes or no.
Everything else has been up to the government.
Voted in by the electorates
Twice there was a chance to change things. This is what those that voted wanted. How hard is that to understand.

TalkinPeace · 08/03/2018 21:59

mummmy
Everything else has been up to the government.
So you'll be chilled when they decide to stay in the Single Market and Customs Union (the cotton wool fluffy cloud Brexit)

So the UK will lose its seat at the table
but still have to obey all the rules

You are happy to leave it all to the Government ?

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 22:00

The link I spoke of was a personal tax number used by EU to plug budget hole, by grabbing a tax off EU members. The rest is you running with your own idea and cherry picking ...

TalkinPeace · 08/03/2018 22:04

The link I spoke of was a personal tax number used by EU to plug budget hole, by grabbing a tax off EU members.
Please find it then
as the one I found was nothing of the sort

If you say the "grab" link is out there ..... prove it

Cupofteaandtoilet · 08/03/2018 22:04

How hard is that to understand

Very

mummmy2017 · 08/03/2018 22:06

I place my Faith in 28 countries not being able to agree..
