So in the spirit of sharing our deluded brexiteer cheerfulness, heres a round up of some of this weeks good news.

http://www.londonlovesbusiness.com/business-news/london-news/big-boost-world-bank-ranks-uk-seventh-in-its-doing-business-report/18554.article

The government have 'found' £60billion to put is a slush fund for brexit.

And in the week that saw the interest rate rise, the Bank of England said gloomily "as migration tightens, we will see wage growth". Note the 'we will'. Smile

Excellent. All this whilst the media obsess over impotent politicians as Britain works.

Rumour has it, some remainers are a little glum.....

Funny you mention that article frank as I discussed it with him today and he dismissed it as amusing flotsam and jetsam.

I concur, as portfolios are constructed of at least
30% uk equities, vast amounts in Asia Pacific, North America etc, and bugger all in European equities.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 20:49

I could go and point out your grammatical errors, but maybe I'm not quite as childish as some Brexiteers...

Knock yourself out, I’m sure you’ll find plenty of errors.

I just always find it amusing when someone gets sneery about others and then fucks up their own SPaG.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 20:50

Caroline, forget about the CTA. Issue is movement between eu and non eu countries.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 20:52

Not satire Ghost, no.

You are obsessed with imaginary hordes of illegal immigrants coming to Britain via Ireland.

It’s bizarre.

themueslicamel · 16/11/2017 20:52

Carolines

On another occasion at work years ago I made Nigel Farage a cup tea as well!

Funny who you cross paths with working in the City...

drwitch · 16/11/2017 20:57

The issue with Ireland is not so much people but goods. If we are out of the sm then checks will need to be made at points of entry to the EU on whether goods conform to EU standards. This means a border. There are three places it can be in Ireland, between gb and Northern Ireland or between Ireland and the rest of the Eu. The first destroys the gfa, the second is possible but the dup are unlikely to accept it and the last means Ireland effectively leaving the sm. It is an impossible situation

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:00

No faith, you’ve just forgotten about the leave campaign entirely and failed to understand the situation with NI.

shhhfastasleep · 16/11/2017 21:01

Whinging about hordes of imaginary immigrants? No one with any sense would ever use that image to make a point.... no, wait a minute.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:04

Clearly there is a subset of leavers who want out the EU but for everything to stay as it is

CardinalSin · 16/11/2017 21:05

I think making a typo is a little less stupid worrying than thinking that "access" to each other's markets is an actual policy!

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:12

No faith, you’ve just forgotten about the leave campaign entirely and failed to understand the situation with NI.

No Ghost, you repeatedly bang on about imaginary immigrants using Ireland as an entry point for the UK.

The Leave campaign ended last June, this is now. You continue to raise hordes of imaginary immigrants as a reason for a hard border between Ireland & NI, even though TM et al & Leavers on MN are not remotely concerned by it.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:15

I think making a typo is a little less stupid worrying than thinking that "access" to each other's markets is an actual policy!

Cardinal it’s ok, honest.
Let it go.
Lots of people get mixed up between ‘drawer’ and ‘draw’.

I just thought it was amusing that you did that in the same sentence as sneering at ‘stupid people’.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:15

Faith, that’s because it is possiblevfor migrants to enter NI without a border. TM and clearly some leavers still favour the cake and eat it approach. A pp has explained why NI and Brexit are virtually incompatible

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:19

Faith, that’s because it is possiblevfor migrants to enter NI without a border.

How many migrants use Ireland as a staging post en route to UK at the moment Ghost?

Do you seriously think this will suddenly become a massive ‘thing’ post Brexit?

If not, then I simply cannot understand why you keep bringing it up tbh.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:21

It was a massive thing for the leave campaign eg border control. Besides outside the customs union/single market there will need to be border checks

shhhfastasleep · 16/11/2017 21:28

You’ve seen “the Jungle “ in Calais. Do you seriously think that people prepared to endure that to get to the UK , wouldn’t aim for a soft border into NI?
I see Leavers stupid scaremongering about Turkey and raise you the far more likely difficulties at the ROI/UK border.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:31

Ah yes shhh “turkey (76 million) is joining the eu”. I forgot about that. Nothing to do with immigration though...

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:31

How are these entirely fictitious illegal immigrants getting to Ireland in the first place then Shhh?

An Irish/NI version of the Calais jungle? Really?!

Remoaner paranoia is getting really weird.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:32

Are you Russian?!
WinkGrin

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:33

Leaver denial is getting tedious. The complexity of NI has burst brexiteers bubble.

shhhfastasleep · 16/11/2017 21:38

They get to Ireland by sea crossing. I’m sure some scum bag traffickers are already looking at this business opportunity.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:42

Leaver denial is getting tedious

Ghost, your inane assertions re an impending onslaught of illegal immigrants descending on Britain via illegal trafficking to Ireland are hugely tedious.
And a little unhinged.

CardinalSin · 16/11/2017 21:43

"I just thought it was amusing that you did that in the same sentence as sneering at ‘stupid people’"

Just as I thought that someone criticising another person's typos having made so many of their own was amusing.

More of that Leaver denial I guess...

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 16/11/2017 21:44

Cardinal, it’s ok - draw & drawer are often confused!
Why the angst?

GhostofFrankGrimes · 16/11/2017 21:45

Faith, your argument is a busted flush.
