Nice to see some positive news, Qatar announcing £5,000,000,000 investment and Sir James Dyson makes some valid points in support of going our own way.

It's funny how life works out isn't it, Teresa May campaigns for remain and she is the one to trigger brexit!

Come on TM, get on with it so we can make a start.

And for the record I am certainly not a fan of the little Englanders who want to ban immigration, we need immigration, I would just like to have control of whom and how many.

I am not talking about refugees either, we need to do our bit there too.

The whole of the leave campaign was based on COULD. We could trade with country x, we could form partnerships out side EU etc.

LateDad · 29/03/2017 22:36

Slightly off topic - did anyone else notice the BBC news site now showing a Leave bus with only £50m per day on the side? Was that the post-referendum version?

LondonMum8 · 30/03/2017 07:40

BBC has been mostly transformed into a pro-brexit propaganda tube.

Imjustapoorboy · 30/03/2017 08:02

We are all in this together! It has been demanded we unite. I say deliver your unicorns.....and I'll think about it

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 08:35

I do not want a unicorn

I think that stuff about them shitting rainbows is a myth...i think they shit like a normal horse

There is enough manure around at the moment thank you

Imjustapoorboy · 30/03/2017 08:36

I want a unicorn. It was unicorns for all. You didn't have to vote leave to get them

I want everything that was promised

Imjustapoorboy · 30/03/2017 08:40

As myself and 48% have been dragged kicking and screaming into this mess I think it's only right we demand everything that was promised

Better economy
More autonomy
Freedom of mocement (only for us obvs)
More money for the NHS

When none of these happen perhaps the leavers will shilly shally slowly to our way of thinking. We only need 5%

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 30/03/2017 08:43

The whole "We're all in this together, get behind Brexit, let's make it work" is like walking into Dragons Den, saying "So I've got this kind of idea and it's sort of good and it might be bad but in the long run there's a chance it might be good and people won't like it but some people will and I don't know much about business or making things or ideas but COME ON, GET BEHIND IT, WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER YOU MOANY FUCKERS".

And then when the business idea fails, it's the fault of the Dragons rather than the people rushing blindly in with no idea what they're doing, of course.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 08:50

I told dd that all white horses used to be unicorns until their horns fell off

She is very gullible

Imjustapoorboy · 30/03/2017 08:53

So leavers are gullible? Oh that's nice

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 08:55

What?

Im not saying that at all!

I just thought it was a funny unicorn story

Wait a minute are you teasing me ?

Kaija · 30/03/2017 09:03

"We only need 5%" we probably already have it. What we don't have is a mechanism to make ourselves heard.

Kaija · 30/03/2017 09:05

Hey Rufus, I heard there's no such word as gullible in the dictionary.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 09:06

Oh wait a minute and i will go and check

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 09:06

Yes there is!!!

It has a picture of dd next to the definition

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 30/03/2017 09:06

No wait

Its a small picture

It looks more like me to be fair

Kaija · 30/03/2017 09:08
Grin
Deadsouls · 31/03/2017 16:54

ovaries

Grin brilliant scenario. It sort of is that. 'We don't know we're doing, and there's only thousands upon thousands of legislature to review, adopt, discard or reform and only all 27 member states have to unilaterally agree on the terms of exit, and only the commons has to agree and pass it, and we only to pay a few billion in exit fees but it's all so wonderful and exciting because we're taking back control'

Deadsouls · 31/03/2017 16:57

Oh and don't forget the bit about getting the best possible deal every SINGLE person in Britain.
