Nice to see some positive news, Qatar announcing £5,000,000,000 investment and Sir James Dyson makes some valid points in support of going our own way.

It's funny how life works out isn't it, Teresa May campaigns for remain and she is the one to trigger brexit!

Come on TM, get on with it so we can make a start.

OP posts:

Bear don't bother. Something of the claig is about me thinks

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 20:47

please tell me what I've said that's untrue?
Bear, all you do is make is outrageous comments, engaging with such speculation just gives it credence. Which you dont have.

I was stating that despite promoting Farage/UKIP at every turn
And yet you offer ZERO evidence that the BBC is promoting Farage.

Bearbehind · 01/04/2017 20:49

Bear, all you do is make is outrageous comments, engaging with such speculation just gives it credence. Which you dont have.

anon please stop talking bollocks.

Name one of my 'outrageous comments' by providing a credible defence against it.

Imjustapoorboy · 01/04/2017 20:53

Anon sigh. Try this m.huffpost.com/uk/entry/uk_58d95295e4b03787d35ae186

Billy small bollocks has always had far too much exposure

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 20:56

OK Bear, you said "David Davis has absolutely no clue at all about anything by the looks of it."

Your basing your arguments upon how you think DD looks. Outrageous nonsense.

Imjustapoorboy · 01/04/2017 20:58

Bear please don't engage with hairyNess. You are better than that

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 21:02

FYI I am not a UKIP supporter

Imjustapoorboy so your saying that because the BBC gave UKIP a voice on one program, less than 25% of the time then it was bias in a referendum which saw a majority of the entire country vote to leave the EU.

That is stretching the truth to destruction! It demonstrates that the BBC was bias against leaving the EU. FFS

Imjustapoorboy · 01/04/2017 21:05

Anon I aint saying anything. Just posting le posts. Good you need to state your not a kipper

In that case I'm not a leftie

Bearbehind · 01/04/2017 21:08

anon which part of David Davis saying, 'I don't know, I haven't looked at that' did you not understand?

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 21:12

which part of David Davis saying, 'I don't know, I haven't looked at that' did you not understand?

How could someone look at something that doesn't exist yet?

Bearbehind · 01/04/2017 21:15

So EHIC doesn't exist then?

Reciprocal healthcare in the EU is the figment of everyone's imagination?

Give it up anon, you're not even very good at defending your position.

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 21:18

Bearbehind

EHIC exists but the answer to what happens to it in 2 years time has not been discussed yet.

Give it up Bear, you're not even very good at defending your position.

Bearbehind · 01/04/2017 21:23

anon your comments will have credence when they have substance.

So, in your opinion, EHIC didn't exist, but now it does, but it doesn't matter for 2 years.

So far you've talked complete bollocks with not an ounce to substiate it.

Could you give us some actual facts?

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 21:29

Bear I have no idea what your talking about, your ranting and raving about EHIC, and exclaiming Brexit is a disaster because we dont have answers about questions we haven't even talked about.

Could you actually give us some facts about your position, rather than just maniacal posts.

Bearbehind · 01/04/2017 21:48

anon please could you give me sensible responses to the following, otherwise I'll assume you are talking out of your arse

  • how we deal with the NI issue
  • how we deal with the Gibraltar issue
  • how we deal with inflation pushing up the price of everything including inputs into exports
  • how we deal with the weakened pound
  • how we deal with financal services leaving the UK
  • how we deal with the fact we need immigration
  • how we deal with the fact we need cooperation on security.

_-how we deal with the fact if we leave with no deal we'll be screwed by WTO

theyearofthekitty · 01/04/2017 21:51

People using "bias" instead of "biased" usually tells you all you need to know about their political leanings and where they get their alternative facts info from. Probably best to just ignore.

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 22:09

how we deal with the NI issue
Will be decided in the discussions

how we deal with the Gibraltar issue
Will be decided in the discussions

how we deal with inflation pushing up the price of everything including inputs into exports
Will be decided in the discussions

how we deal with the weakened pound
Will increase exports

how we deal with financal services leaving the UK
Unsubstantiated speculation

how we deal with the fact we need immigration
Will be decided in the discussions

how we deal with the fact we need cooperation on security

how we deal with the fact if we leave with no deal we'll be screwed by WTO+
Speculation without evidence.

Corcory · 01/04/2017 22:15

Bear - What you don't seem to factor into your argument with regard to Scottish independence is that a large proportion of SNP voters also voted to leave the EU. In fact traditionally the SNP were anti EU and campaigned against the EEC in the 70s. Economically things look a lot worse for Scotland than in 2014 and the SNP can't argue that oil money will solve all their problems. Many won't want to leave their biggest trading block in favour of the EU. Alex Salmon's big deal was to keep the £ in 2014 but if they are determined to re-join/stay in the EU they can't do that as all new entrants have to accept the euro. Many people in Scotland like having their own bank notes, it's part of their national pride.
Many people in Scotland are pig sick of the SNP and NS in particular with her giving the UK government unreasonable demands then stomping their feet when UK gov. say no or not just know as they know they would.

Corcory · 01/04/2017 22:21

So spelling a word one way or another tells you 'all you need to know about their political leanings'!!!

Anon1234567890 · 01/04/2017 22:26

The Scottish dont even want another referendum.

Peregrina · 01/04/2017 23:10

Anon is a troll, anon is a troll. Who will run in to deny it, because everything we say is contradicted, or replied to with claptrap.

What colour (or sorry, should be the American color).
Look up to see.

Is water wet?
Why don't you feel it....... ad nauseum.

Peregrina · 01/04/2017 23:15

Corcory - one of the sensible Leavers, who is genuine on these threads and tries to give decent answers.
In fact traditionally the SNP were anti EU and campaigned against the EEC in the 70s.

But then it was a Conservative who took the UK into the EU - with the support of the Daily Mail. Parties can and do change their collective mind. Now apparently being wholly behind the Eurosceptics or just because they think it's a good career move for them. So why shouldn't the SNP have a change of heart, since circumstances have changed?

theyearofthekitty · 01/04/2017 23:39

Corcory, using "bias" (noun) instead of "biased" (adjective) just happens to be extremely common among the alt-right troll crowd. Which fits very well with everything else we've seen from Anon so far - otherwise I wouldn't have commented on it! As you may be able to tell, English isn't my first language so I'm usually the last person to play grammar police.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 01/04/2017 23:43

Really kitty

Is that true, i am very gullible

I just thought anon was just using the word wrong Smile

prettybird · 01/04/2017 23:45

I thought that this old canard "they are determined to re-join/stay in the EU they can't do that as all new entrants have to accept the euro. " had been comprehensively debunked The people who keep on bringing it up again really should know better But there again, it serves their purposes to promulgate this lie misinformation.

New entrants don't have to adopt the Euro straight away. In fact, they can't join the Euro until they have met the convergence criteria. It's also left up to the individual countries as to when and how they meet the criteria.

Some choose to move more quickly than others (Sweden, that example of a basket case economy, for some reason never quite meets the criteria Wink). Some even choose to use the Euro who're not even in the EU! Shock

Scotland, without a track record of a Central Bank (even though as part of the Union, it co-owns the Bank of England Confused), would need a number of years to "prove" itself - and it could do that within the EU.

(Screenshot from the EU's own web-site; difficult for me to copy and paste from other web-sites when I'm in the app as if I've written a long post, I often lose it while I'm "away" getting the link).
